DOINK THE CLOWN VS. MR. PERFECT

 Mr. Perfect makes his way to the ring, Doink the Clown follows but takes his time with a younger fan. Mr. Perfect walks back toward the entrance way and connects with right hands. 

Jim Ross and Bobby “The Brain” Heenan are on commentary for this match. 

DOINK THE CLOWN VS. MR. PERFECT 

WWF Wrestling Challenge (Aired 16th May 1993) 

  The bell rings as Mr. Perfect sends Doink’s head into the ring steps. Perfect connects with a chop before bringing the match into the ring. 

 Doink the Clown backs off into the corner, but he cuts off Mr. Perfect with a kick to the midsection. Mr Perfect catches another kick, walking Doink back to the middle of the ring and tripping him. Mr. Perfect starts working the leg in an Indian deathlock, slapping Doink as he sits up away from the pressure. Doink has to rake at Perfect’s face to break the hold, Doink reverses an irish whip and catches Perfect in the sleeperhold. Mr. Perfect sends Doink into the corner and kicks at the injured leg, before slamming it into the apron. Doink is dragged back to the middle of the ring for a stepover leglock and spinning toehold. Mr. Perfect works a Figure Four leglock, but Doink eventually makes it to the bottom rope. Doink sends PErfect through the ropes to the floor. Doink sends Perfect’s head into the ring steps and gets back into the ring. Doink the Clown sends Perfect’s head into the ring steps a couple more times for good measure and waits for him inside the ring. Doink the Clown connects with a forearm before taking Perfect down in a top wristlock. 

 Doink stomps on the arm and knocks Perfect down to the floor with a clothesline. Doink is hobbling on one leg, he snapmares Perfect over and locks in an armbar. Perfect fights out and they exchange right hands, Doink knocks Perfect down. Mr. Perfect rolls back to his feet and they go back to slugging it out as the bell rings for a time limit draw. 

WINNER: DRAW (Time Limit Draw – 7:04) 

This was the first half of a match, but the “time limit” expired as they were beginning to find their groove. [*½] 2.5/10 

After the bell, Mr. Perfect gets the best of Doink as they exchange blows, Perfectplex connects, but the referee tries to tell Perfect that the match is already over.
