Before the match, Tony Schiavone welcomes us to SuperBrawl: Revenge, he says every major championship will be on the line, along with the Commissionership. We’re starting with a 6 way cruiserweight match. We see footage of Road Warrior Animal attacking Billy Kidman before the pay-per-view went live. Evan Karagias makes his way out first, he qualified for this match on the most recent episode of Thunder beating AJ Styles and Air Paris. Knoble is the next man out, followed by Kaz Hayashi, who beat Shane Helms to qualify for the match on the 7th February episode of Thunder. Yun Yang makes his way out next, he beat Lash LaRoux on the most recent episode of Nitro. Shannon Moore makes his way out, he beat Jamie Knoble to qualify for the match. WINNER: SHANE HELMS
There were a few rough points in the match. It’s easy to say
from here but I wouldn’t have pinned Karagias until I hit a move. 3 Count kept
the match flowing and it was surreal seeing Jamie Knoble flying around the
ring. Kaz Hayashi worked better in the final 2, but the eliminations seemed
rushed and that made some of the spots sloppy. [**] 3.75/10
