TRISH STRATUS VS. TERRI

 

Trish Stratus makes her way out first and gets some compliments on her attire from commentary, as expected. King stumbles through the sponsors and Terri makes her way out.

TRISH STRATUS VS. TERRI

(WWE Women’s Championship) – Lingerie match

WWE Raw (3^rd June 2002)

  Trish Stratus charges but Terri draws first blood with a drop toehold. Terri ducks a clothesline and pulls Trish to the mat by her hair. Trish’s head is sent into the top turnbuckle and she’s sent to the mat again, Terri covers but only gets 2. The cameraman understands the assignment as Terri goes to the top rope for a crossbody, but she only gets a nearfall. Trish Stratus gets some offense in, backing Terri into the corner with forearms.  She continues with kicks and a snapmare out of the corner and a snap suplex for 2. Terri is sent into the corner but gets her boot up. She climbs the ropes but Trish brings her out of the corner in a powerbomb. Terri falls back like she’s going to take a Styles Clash, but brings herself back up and drops onto Trish for a cover, Trish rolls through and they get to their feet. Terri pushes Trish over and stomps her, Trish ducks a clothesline and hits a bulldog for the sudden win.

WINNER: TRISH STRATUS (STILL WWE Women’s champion)

The match wasn’t great, Terri lost all sense of what she was doing near the end but I had to review the match for continuity and it’s Trish in a thong so difficult to complain. [DUD] 10/10

After the match, Trish Stratus pulls down her panties to reveal a thong and gets attacked by Molly Holly.
