Before the match, The Rock made his way out to the ring and challenged The Undertaker to a WWF Championship match at King of the Ring. Debra makes her way out first with the WWF Intercontinental Champion, Jeff Jarrett. JR and King go over the sponsors and I kinda want the beef ravioli, Ivory makes her way out and we see this starting 8 days ago on Heat as Debra tried to distract Mark Henry during a match.

Debra slaps Ivory, leading to a catfight. JR clarifies that this won’t be a scientific match as Debra’s head is sent into the top turnbuckle. Nicole Bass decides to watch the match from ringside and I learn that she was brought in as a “former squeeze” of Val Venis. Debra reverses the momentum in the corner, scraping Ivory’s face against the top rope before some choking. Ivory is, unsurprisingly, pissed off and snapmares Debra down with something around her throat. JR’s talking about Steve Austin being CEO and I can’t blame him. It was Ivory’s scarf that was being used to choke Debra and now she has hold of it. Jeff Jarrett distracts the referee on the apron as Debra chokes Ivory from behind. Nicole Bass gets in the ring and grabs Debra’s throat, holding her in place for the vicious roll-up to put us out of our misery.
WINNER: IVORY (NEW WWF Women's Champion)
This was a long 4 minutes. The title only got a mention during the entrances, it was “me first, then you” with every spot and the only redeeming thing about it was that the heel’s attempt to get a cheap victory was thwarted and the WWF Women’s Championship went to someone with in ring ability.
