STEVE WILLIAMS VS. VAMPIRO

Earlier in the night, Oklahoma was trying to hype up Steve Williams, and he was kidnapped by the Misfits. "Mean" Gene Okerlund wants answers from them before the match. The leader says that they’re keeping him in the shark cage to make sure he sticks to the stipulation. If Vampiro wins the match he gets 5 minutes alone with Oklahoma. Speaking of Vampiro, he’s out first. The Misfits bring out the cage and Oklahoma who has a microphone for commentary too. “Dr. Death” Steve Williams makes his way out and Vampiro flies onto him from the cage.

Scott Hudson, Bobby “The Brain” Heenan and Tony Schiavone are on commentary for this match.

STEVE WILLIAMS VS. VAMPIRO

WCW Starrcade 1999 (19th December 1999)

The bell rings even though they’re not in the ring. Vampiro chops Williams and then sends him into the barricade.

Steve Williams backdrops out of a double underhook but gets dropped with a kick to the jaw. Vampiro brings it into the ring, and our referee is Charles Robinson for those interested. Vampiro attacks in the corner but Dr. Death fights back. Oklahoma loses his shit as Doc chops Vampiro, but Vampiro responds with a double chop, backing Williams into the corner. Steve Williams is sent into the corner but explodes out with a shoulder tackle. He targets Vampiro’s knee with football tackles and clubs at Vampiro. Steve Williams sends Vampiro into the top turnbuckle and connects with right hands. Steve Williams takes a layer of Vampiro’s skin from his chest with a chop and irish whips him into the corner. Vampiro avoids the clothesline and hits a back suplex, he covers but Williams kicks out at 1. Vampiro goes to the top rope, but Williams cuts him off. They brawl above the ring, Williams rakes Vampiro’s eyes and hits a scary-looking superplex. Jerry Only and the other members of the Misfits are in the ring. Steve Williams sends them packing and Vampiro hits him with a spinning kick. Another kick is countered into a back suplex by Williams and he starts the ground and pound.

Charles Robinson is shoved away and Williams continues the assault. Steve Williams shoves Robinson down for the second time and gets disqualified.

WINNER: VAMPIRO (Disqualification)

This was a nothing match, just to lead to the next one. It was far from the best from either guy, and the scary superplex is the only thing that even gets this a rating to be honest [¼*]  0/10

Oklahoma shouts that it shouldn't count as we prepare to fulfil the stipulation, because EVERYONE paid to see Ed fucking Ferrara in the ring(!)
