Big E follows him, blocking the right hand but being sent into the ring post, we see a replay of it as Sandow hits a dropkick through the corner of the ring because we’re not allowed nice things. Damien Sandow rolls Langston into the ring and covers for 2. Charles Robinson is our referee. Sandow connects with right hands and falling elbow drops, he covers Big E again, but he kicks out at 1 so Sandow goes to the chinlock. Big E gets to his feet, he tries to elbow free but Sandow clubs at the champion’s back and transitions to a standing front facelock, keeping his weight over Big E. Big E Langston lifts Sandow off his feet to break the hold but Sandow slips out the back of a Big Ending attempt, he kicks Langston in the knee and runs through him with a clothesline. Big E runs into Sandow’s boots in the corner, but he ducks a clothesline and runs into Sandow at full speed.
Big
E Langston’s straps come down, which of course means the Big Ending finally
works. Big E covers and gets the win, retaining the title.
WINNER: BIG E LANGSTON (STILL WWE Intercontinental Champion)
This was a pretty good match, both guys looked good in the time they had. Damien Sandow was able to fight off the Big Ending until the finish and it meant something, Big E looked strong and Sandow’s advantage usually came from a Big Ending counter. [**] 3.75/10
