Tazz and Michael Cole are on commentary for this match, Mr. McMahon enters first, Tazz wants a pay rise saying McMahon looks great. Zach Gowen makes his way out without his walking stick and both commentators put him over big. He removes his prosthetic leg before the bell rings.

They lock up and Mr. McMahon backs Gowen into the corner before breaking cleanly. Zach Gowen hops into another lockup, getting backed into the opposite corner. McMahon threatens a right hand but backs away. McMahon ducks under the third lockup attempt and gets a waistlock takedown, before trying to humiliate Gowen. McMahon hits a hip toss and a scoop slam on Gowen. Mr. McMahon lifts Gowen onto his shoulder but Gowen slips behind, McMahon stops any momentum holding on to the rope and knocks through Zach with a clothesline. We see a replay because it was brutal, as Vince kicks Gowen in the ribs. Zach Gowen gets to his foot and tries to fight back as McMahon shoulder blocks him in the corner, mixed in with chokes. The fans call McMahon an asshole and Tazz refuses to acknowledge it due to who signs his checks. McMahon hits Gowen with knees to the ribs and Gowen tries to fight back with back elbows. Mr. McMahon hits him with a back elbow in the corner then throws him down to the mat. Zach Gowen doesn’t quit when the referee asks him and uses the ropes to get back to a vertical base, he connects with more back elbows, stunning Mr. McMahon.
Mr. McMahon charges with a right hand but Gowen sends him over to the floor. Zach Gowen kicks McMahon through the ropes and hits an Asai moonsault to the floor. Gowen gets back in the ring before McMahon is on his feet. Gowen hits him with a dropkick as Vince is getting back in the ring. Gowen hits a leg drop, then another from the top rope. He covers but only gets 2. Vince McMahon trips Zach’s ankle and puts on a kneebar. Mr. McMahon drives his knee into Gowen’s leg as Gowen tries to cut it off, but his attacks have no effect. McMahon drives Gowen’s knee into the mat. McMahon lets Gowen stand then kicks his leg out from underneath him, Mr. McMahon takes time to flex before dragging Gowen over to the corner and wraps the knee around the ring post. Mr McMahon taunts Zach Gowen as if he’s trying to get a finisher, Zach takes some shots at McMahon but can’t connect. Mr. McMahon puts Gowen into a single-leg boston crab but Gowen gets to the ropes. Mr. McMahon brings him back to the middle of the ring as Tazz says Gowen’s just getting himself more ass-kicking. Gowen kicks at McMahon’s knee from the mat, he drags himself to the corner to get to a standing position.
Mr. McMahon walks into a boot
from Gowen, Zach Gowen floats over McMahon as he approaches and rolls through before
hitting a dropkick sending McMahon into the corner. Zach Gowen dives on McMahon
with right hands, he rolls to the floor and drags McMahon into the ring post, one
leg on either side. Gowen has to stand back up, as he fell from the momentum and
he starts wrapping McMahon’s leg around the ring post. He just beats the count
at 8, then goes back to McMahon’s leg, flipping McMahon off. Zach Gowen
overshoots a bulldog but he connects with a missile dropkick from the middle
rope. Zach Gowen hits the Moonsault but Mr. Mcmahon gets his foot on the bottom
rope at 2. He rolls to the floor and grabs a steel chair from ringside. Brian
Hebner tries to take it off McMahon but is sent out of the ring, Gowen dropkicks
the edge of the chair into McMahon’s head, busting him open pretty bad, Gowen
hits Vince across the back with the chair and gets back to the top rope,
corkscrew moonsault misses as the referee is back in the ring. Mr. McMahon
covers and gets the win.
WINNER: MR MCMAHON
This was a pretty good match with the obvious limitations. McMahon got some easy heat and it was easy for the crowd to get behind Gowen. He got some decent offense and McMahon’s cut looked legit to me, it shouldn’t have been that deep at least. [* ½ ] personally I’d rate it 2/10
