Ivory makes her way
out with the…. Sweet Syphony? Of Right to Censor’s theme tune. Chyna gets one
hell of a reaction as she makes her way out. This is her first WWF Women’s
Championship match according to JR, which doesn’t sound right. Anyway she has a
green flare gun a year after DeGeneration-X were a thing.

Ivory jumps Chyna
with a belt shot, and goes to town with stomps to the midsection and the back of Chyna’s neck. She hits an elbow
drop and some clubbing blows. Chyna makes it to her feet in the corner, but
Ivory’s back on the attack until Chyna turns it around, catching a kick and
throwing Ivory. Ivory begs off into the corner, hitting forearms and kicks,
completely ignoring the referee’s five count. Ivory is sent off the ropes into
a hip toss, Chyna knocks her down with clotheslines then an irish whip brings
Ivory into a back body drop. Chyna hits a delayed powerbomb on Ivory, she covers
but lifts Ivory’s shoulder at 2. Chyna lifts Ivory into a military press, drops
her and covers (barely) for the win.
WINNER: CHYNA (NEW WWF Women’s Championship)
This was a pretty
good match for the time it got. They worked a basic formula really well and the
right woman won. [**¾] 5,75/10
