At the Royal Rumble Tori helped Sable defend the Women's Championship against Luna Vachon. Which somehow lead to a heel turn for Sable in the meantime, which lead to this match. Big Punisher is shown in the crowd before Sable makes her entrance. Jerry “The King” Lawler and Michael Cole are on commentary for this match. Lawler says Sable isn't Cole's type because she isn't inflatable as she cuts a short promo. Tori makes her way out but Sable doesn't let her in the ring. She kicks Tori in the midsection as she tries to get in the first time, then drags her across the ring and slingshots her using the top rope.
SABLE VS. TORI
WWF Wrestlemania 15 (28th March 1999)
I haven't heard the bell but the referee isn't calling for it so I guess it's started. Sable kicks Tori in the midsection before dumping her through the ropes. Tori drags Sable under the bottom rope, sends her into the apron, then the barricade, and back to the apron. Sable reverses an irish whip sending Tori into the barricade and gets a knee to the gut. Sable climbs on the apron and overshoots a crossbody on Tori. At this moment Cole says Sable has become a great in ring competitor without a sense of irony. Sable brings it back into the ring. Tori knocks Sable down with a clothesline and gets some mounted punches, Sable is sent from corner to corner and Tori follows with another clothesline. Back again for the same, but on the third attempt Sable reverses the irish whip. Sable runs at Tori who leapfrogs her using the ropes and rolls her up for 2. Sable gets 2 on a jacknife cover, then another in the alligator hold, they try and bridge up but fall, Tori brings Sable down in a backslide and only gets 2. Tori ducks a crescent kick, then another the other way before hitting the ropes. She ducks a right hand by Sable, Tori tries to hit her with a running crossbody but Sable ducks and she knocks the referee down. Sable fucks up a Sable Bomb, dropping Tori who punches her in the gut. Tori sets up a powerbomb but Nicole Bass enters the ring, she lifts Tori into a military press and King says that Nicole was on Howard Stern twice in a minute. Nicole Bass drops Tori to the ground and Sable looks confused but grateful for the help (where I'm just grateful this is over) she hits the Sable Bomb this time and covers for the win.
WINNER: SABLE
There wasn't anything in that match that looked like either of these women were trained. It was sloppy and nothing looked even close to correct, it would be over a decade before the Women's Evolution came into the WWE and it showed in this match.– As a match, it's ½* but personally, I'd rate it 0/10
