Before the match, Bob Uecker is backstage talking about Vana White, instead, Bobby Heenan and The Islanders show up. Bob Uecker tells Heenan that Matilda is back, The Brain says they're ready. The One Man Gang is shown in the ring as we go back to Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse Ventura on commentary. Bam Bam Bigelow makes his way down with Oliver Humperdink. Jesse says there'll be over 800lbs in the ring during this match. Having to out heel Monsoon who makes a remark about reinforcing the ring.
ONE MAN GANG VS. BAM BAM BIGELOW
WWF Wrestlemania 4 (27th March 1988
Slick is with One Man Gang who charges Bigelow into the corner with clubbing blows. He adds in right hands and an elbow to the top of the head, Biglow drops, but just bounces back to his feet and One Man Gang sends him into the corner and hits an avalanche as Gorilla Monsoon says he wrestled at 440lbs at his biggest. Bam Bam Bigelow is sent back across the ring, but this time he sidesteps One man Gang, Bigelow knocks him down with a shoulder tackle and cartwheels before hitting a splash for a nearfall. Bigelow hits the ropes and ducks a clothesline, then a running crossbody gets another 2. It's at this point we have Jack Krueger as the referee. Oh boy. Bigelow hits a series of strikes, knocking down OMG with a clothesline, One Man Gang gets to his feet, another combination of varied strikes by Bigelow, knocking Gang down with a headbutt. Bigelow hits the ropes, jumping headbutt to One Man Gang. It takes Monsoon 5 seconds to react to it, Bigelow hits the ropes again but Slick pulls the top rope down, sending Bigelow over to the floor. Bigelow gets to the apron at 5, One Man Gang keeps attacking Bigelow slowing him down, Bigelow is able to make some space, but the referee counts to 10. One Man Gang and Slick get out of there in a hurry. Barely waiting for Krueger to raise One Man Gang's hand.
WINNER: ONE MAN GANG
This was a pretty good match and the count out did protect Bigelow slightly. It just seemed a waste, but I guess adds to the story of the night and the tournament, as he faces Randy Savage in the quarter finals.– As a match, it's * but personally, I'd rate it 2.5/10
