STEVE CORINO VS. DUSTY RHODES

Steve Corino and Jack Victory are in the ring, dressed like cowboys for the Bullrope match. Steve Corino runs down the crowd before Jack Victory turns his attention to Sandman's wife in the front row. He basically says she's slept with the locker room and the Raven storyline was a shoot, adding that Sandman isn't Tyler's real dad. Lori is brought over the guardrail, into the ring where Jack Victory has set up a table in the corner. Rhino storms the ring to hold Lori in place with Victory, but Sandman attacks Corino from behind. Rhino immediately flattens him with a lariat and hits the Rhinodriver on Sandman before Goring Lori through the table!

Sandman covers his wife as Jack Victory and Rhino lay in the boots until security rush the ring and take Rhino backstage, some staying in the ring keeping Corino and Victory in the corner. They are taken backstage too, but immediately return as Steve Corino wants his match to start now. Joey Styles and Cyrus the Virus are on commentary tonight. Dusty Rhodes obliges, bringing out his own bullrope. He throws Corino his end, but Corino refuses to put it on his wrist throughout the introductions. Dusty Rhodes hits him with a Bionic elbow, the referee attaches the bullrope and the match can start.

STEVE CORINO VS. DUSTY RHODES (Bullrope match)
ECW Living Dangerously 2000 (12th March 2000)

Steve Corino keeps trying to get out of the ring but Dusty keeps pulling him in with the bullrope. Dusty Rhodes has a cowbell in his hand, hitting Steve Corino on the head with it. Dusty Rhodes clocks Corino with the cowbell again before dragging Corino out to the floor. Dusty Rhodes uses the cowbell to dig into Steve Corino's forehead after the third shot. Steve Corino is brought up to the top of the entrance way, where another shot with the bell busts him open. Dusty Rhodes brings Corino into the crowd, hitting the bionic elbow, spurring an “E-C-Dub” chant. Yeah, nothing says ECW like Dusty Rhodes' bionic elbow...? Jack Victory has caught up to them in the crowd as Corino has the cowbell. Jack Victory holds Rhodes in place as Corino digs the bell into Dusty's skull. They move through the crowd to the bleachers and Dusty's bleeding too now. He fights back with another elbow and a shot from the cowbell before they move back down to the floor. Corino eats another cowbell shot as they get back to the ground, a right hand by The American Dream sends Corino over to ringside.

Jack Victory attacks Dusty Rhodes as he gets over the guard rail, Steve Corino takes advantage with boots and uses the edge of the cowbell again. Steve Corino brings it back into the ring, Jack Victory slides him a chair in as Corino uses the rope to choke Dusty Rhodes. Steve Corino sets the chair up and climbs to the middle rope, but Dusty pulls on the bullrope to bring Steve Corino crashing into the chair. Dusty Rhodes slowly gets to his feet, grabbing the cowbell and using the edge to carve at Steve Corino's arm. Dusty knocks Corino down with a kick and gets another shot with the bell but Steve Corino fights back with right hands. Steve Corino uses the cowbell across Dusty's back and grabs the chair. Jack Victory holds Rhodes in place as Steve Corino sets up the chair between the turnbuckles, but Dusty Rhodes sends Corino into the chair instead! Dusty Rhodes hits another bionic elbow, knocking Corino down. Dusty Rhodes hits a right hand but Corino gets a combination of punches, the automatic elbow drops Rhodes to one knee and Corino grabs Jack Victory's bullrope from earlier. Jack Victory tries to throw a roll of tape into Steve Corino but Rhodes catches it. He hits both Corino and Victory with a bionic elbow and the referee tapes the cowbell to the top of Steve Corino's head since they have a history. Dusty Rhodes hits the cowbell with the steel chair! Dusty Rhodes removes his elbow pad and hits a dancing elbow for the win.

WINNER: DUSTY RHODES

Steve Corino is an amazing heel, as he showed leading into and during this match, the match itself was nothing special. Jack Victory got involved enough to make his involvement worth it but didn't take away from the match. Dusty Rhodes got an amazing reaction from the ECE crowd for his appearance and Steve Corino got to wrestle one of his heroes.– WORKRATE: 2/5 PERSONAL ENJOYMENT 2.5/5 OVERALL 4.5/10
