As we return to The Temple The Crew are in the ring, each wielding a kendo stick. Sexy Star, Mascarita Sagrada make their way down as Vampiro and Matt Striker welcome us back on commentary.
THE CREW VS. MASCARITA SAGRADA, SEXY STAR & PIMPELLINA ESCARLITA
(No Holds Barred trios match)
“Eye for an Eye” Aired: 18th February 2015
No one backs down and they trade rights at the bell. Bael sends Sagrada to the floor, Cisco sends out Sexy Star leaving Cortez Castro in there with Escarlita. Pimpellina Escarlita smothers Castro and kisses him as Striker reminds us The Crew burnt Big Ryck's eye a couple of weeks ago. Cortez Castro attacks Escarlita with the kendo stick, only stopping to choke out Pimpelina. Pimpelina passes out on the mat as Bael hits Sexy Star with a slap to the jaw. Pimpelina is shoved out of the ring as Mr Cisco enters. There's double the reason for not tagging as it's both hardcore and Lucha rules. Mr Cisco boots Sagrada as Escarlita is checked on by medics. Mr Cisco sends Mascarita Sagrada into the corner, but Mascarita catches himself and sends himself over to the apron. Mascarita Sagrada climbs to the top rope and sends Cisco across the ring with a flying headscissors. Mr Cisco seems to be too close on a springboard shoulder tackle, they might have bumped heads. Mr Cisco sends Sagrada into the ropes but Sagrada just gets the best of a tilt-a-whirl arm drag and flies out of the ring with a tope through the ropes!
Bael kicks Sagrada in the head for Mr Cisco to hit a powerbomb on the side of the apron. Cortez Castro gets in the ring, Sexy Star follows him. Sexy Star strikes at Castro but he shoves her down. Sexy Star charges Castro in the corner but he sidesteps and hits a jumping enziguri. Sexy Star drops in the corner and The Crew run through her with sliding kicks. Pimpelina has been taken to the back by the doctors making it 3 on 2 as The Crew circle the ring. Mascarita Sagrada enters but eats a Death Valley Driver from Bael. Castro hits a sliding clothesline then grabs a chair, he sets it underneath Sagrada as Mr Cisco sets up for the curb stomp, taking him out of the match too. The Crew close in on Sexy Star so she rushes the ring. Mr Cisco stops her rush and checks her out so she slaps him, hitting Castro with a dropkick. Sexy Star brings Bael down with a bodyscissors into an arm drag. Sexy Star blocks Mr Cisco's german suplex by kicking her legs and uses a low blow. Sexy Star rushes Bael but is sent over the top rope, landing on her feet. Bael slaps Sexy Star and charges across the ring, but Sexy Star avoids the second attack, so Bael slides out to the floor. Sexy Star jumps from the apron with a tornado DDT on the floor!
Cortez Castro brings Sexy Star into the ring by her hair before she can celebrate but she breaks free and hits him with strikes. Mr. Cisco follows Sexy Star to the ropes and she turns around into a running dropkick. Mr. Cisco sets up for the Razor's Edge but Sexy Star fights out and hits a swinging fisherman's neckbreaker. Mr. Cisco is the first to his feet and we see Sexy Star bleeding as he brings her up for a scoop slam. Mr. Cisco climbs to the top rope but gets cut off with right hands. Sexy Star tries to bring Cisco down but Mr. Cisco powers her back up into a powerbomb. Sexy Star is able to fight him off, hitting a super hurricanrana! Sexy Star covers but only gets a nearfall. The other members of The Crew jump in the ring and all 3 lay the boots to Sexy Star. Big Ryck appears at the top of the stairs, angrily walking towards the ring with an eye patch covering his burn. The distraction is enough for Sexy Star to fight back and roll Bael up with a bodyscissors for the win.
WINNERS: SEXY STAR, PIMPELLINA ESCARLITA & MASCARITA SAGRADA
This match served its purpose. The Crew got to look vicious throughout the match, taking out two members in short order with Sexy Star coming out looking strong for taking them all on. I only have an issue with the ending. The fact that Big Ryck's return was the only reason Sexy Star won kind of sours things for me. Then there was no immediate pay-off with Ryck getting his hands on at least one of The Crew. WORKRATE: 2/5 PERSONAL ENJOYMENT 1/5 OVERALL: 3/10
