A couple of months prior to this match, Sting disappeared from TNA. It must be nice having a job like that. Mike Tenay and Don West are on commentary. The champion enters, getting in Angle's face, Don West reminds us that Jarrett has the belt hostage whilst TNA is using the NWA belts. WINNER: STING (NEW NWA World Heavyweight Champion)
I liked this match being an oldschool NWA match. Jeff Jarrett was able to keep Sting from getting anything going for the opening minutes. Kurt Angle may have been involved a bit too much for me personally but that's Russo booking. Other than the TNAttitude stipulations and booking it was a serviceable match with a big moment to cap off the show. – WORKRATE: 2.5/5 PERSONAL ENJOYMENT 2.25/5 OVERALL 4.75/10
