There's a lot to this next
match. Maria Bennet helped Jade win the Knockouts championship from
Gail Kim, and got control of the Knockouts Division. They've been
feuding even though Maria refuses to get in the ring. It somehow also
involves Sienna. Gail Kim is entering the match with an injured left
knee. Maria walks out with Allie, and Matthews clarifies Allie is
Maria's apprentice. Allie says Gail Kim is faking her injury and
calls her a faker... Seriously. Saying Maria's the only one that
deserves sympathy. Maria gets the microphone and says as much as she
wants to kick Gail's ass in their match tonight, she can't due to her
wrist. Gail Kim tells Allie to shut up and tells Maria she's lying
about the injury. Gail's in the ring despite her knee, so Maria can
wrestle with her wrist, even if Gail Kim has to make her!
This brings out Impact
Executive and Smashing Pumpkins frontman, Billy Corgan. He informs
that Maria's break is legitimate, and shows the X-rays on the big
screen. Gail Kim says she deserves this match after Maria cost her
the title. Corgan says although Sienna was facing Jade for the
Knockouts championship tonight for Slammiversary the fans deserve
something special, so he inserts Gail Kim into that match, bringing
it forward to start now. Sienna enters first, and she is Allie and
Maria's enforcer. They walk down to ringside with her and we await
the champion. Josh Matthews says Jade has become more vicious since
winning the title Pope says she knows her triple threat matches.

June 2016)
Jade and Gail Kim
ambush Sienna at the bell, but her size advantage just keeps them at
bay. Jade and Kim hit Sienna with chops and send her across the ring,
she blocks a hip toss, but they lift her and drop her to the mat. Kim
hits a running dropkick to a seated Sienna and assists Jade with a
standing moonsault. Sienna gets to her feet in the corner as Kim
sends Jade into her with a big boot. Gail Kim hits a running shoulder
block and uses the momentum to go out to the apron. She can't get
Sienna over with a victory roll, and Sienna grabs the top rope. Jade
rolls Sienna up with a crucifix for a nearfall, Kim rolls up Jade in
a cradle for one of her own. Matthews mentions that Gail Kim was the
first ever Knockouts champion, and she can't get Jade over with a
wheelbarrow, Sienna boots Jade, sending Gail Kim over and to the mat
too. Sienna gets a nearfall on Jade as Josh Matthews mentions it's
one fall to a finish after calling it both triple threat and three
way dance.
Sienna chokes Jade with her
boot before Gail Kim makes the save. She can't get Sienna up for a
back suplex so Sienna shoves her down. Sienna goes after Jade in the
corner and puts Gail Kim in the Tree of Woe. Jade and Sienna trade
chops. Jade hits a pair of forearms but Sienna rakes at her face,
sending her to the mat. Kim is free from the corner as Jade's neck is
being repositioned permenantly by Sienna. Jade gets back to her feet
with elbows but Sienna drops her with a clubbing blow to the back.
Gail Kim fires at Sienna with forearms but one shot sends her into
the corner. Sienna brings her back out, sending her back first into
the turnbuckles. Sienna perches Kim on the top turnbuckle but gets
cut off by Jade. Jade is easily shoved away and Sienna lid]fts her in
a firemans carry, Gail Kim is placed on top and Sienna takes them
both out with a double Samoan drop! Gail Kim and Jade both roll out
to the floor where we see Maria and Allie watching on from the ramp.
Sienna goes after Jade but
Gail Kim meets her with a boot to the face, Jade rolls through from a
wheelbarrow sending Sienna into the steps. Gail Kim and Jade connect
with kicks to the head at the same time, knocking each other down,
leaving all three on the floor, as Josh Matthews explains Earl Hebner
won't be counting these Knockouts out. They all struggle back in at
the same time, Sienna and Jade exchange forearms as they get to their
feet. Gail Kim charges at Sienna with a clothesline from nowhere, but
Sienna fights back. Kim and Jade hit double chops but Sienna is doing
well against the numbers here... Gail Kim strings a couple of forearm
shots together but Sienna ducks a wild swing and lifts her for a back
suplex, Kim ends up going over the top rope! Jade gets some strikes
in on Sienna and picks up some speed, ducking a clothesline before
laying Sienna out with a springboard DDT from the middle rope! 1, 2,
Kim gets in the ring to break up the count. Jade sends Gail Kim out
of the ring but she quickly recovers on the apron. Jade makes it to
the top rope but Kim meets her there and sends her across the ring
with a super hurricanrana!
Sienna knocks Gail Kim down
with a clothesline but turns around into a flying hurricanrana from
Jade. Sienna reverses the Package Piledriver, sending Jade overhead,
hitting the AK47! Gail Kim hits Eat Defeat! 1, 2, Allie pulls Kim off
the cover, so Kim hits her with a forearm outside. Gail Kim turns her
attention to Maria, but Maria is able to kick her in the gut. Earl
Hebner is talking to Allie who's shrieking that she didn't do
anything. She then throws the championship belt in to Sienna. Sienna
doesn't have a chance to use it before Marti Belle enters the ring
from the crowd, knocking Jade down with a lead pipe shot! Sienna
covers and gets the cheap victory.
WINNER: SIENNA (NEW TNA Knockouts Champion)
What
the actual fuck was that mess? The only person I'd seen before going
into this match was Gail Kim. Jade and Sienna both got moments to
shine, but this wasn't a great match for one of TNA's biggest shows
of the year celebrating another 12 months of (somehow) being in
business. It never got going and the finish really screwed it for me.
Just for the record, I don't know or care if Gail Kim ever got the
match with Maria.WORKRATE: 1.5/5
