Coming into this event Ricky Steamboat was the WCW United States Champion. However he had to relinquish the championship due to his back injury. This means Austin is the new champion. Commissioner Nick Bockwinkle tells Austin he'll be defending the championship tonight and Jim Duggan is announced as Austin's surprise opponent. Duggan gets one hell of a response from the crowd, well either him or the American flag he's carrying. Tony Schiovane, Bobby “The Brain” Heenan and Jesse Ventura are your commentators.

WCW Fall Brawl 1994 (18th September 1994)
Austin kicks up a fuss as Bockwinkle tells him he has to defend the championship or he'll lose it. Austin tries to leave the ring, Bockwinkle turns him around and Hacksaw sends him over with a Three-Point Stance and dives on him for the cover.
WINNER: JIM DUGGAN (NEW WCW UNITED STATES CHAMPION)
It was one move to get the championship from Austin, it obviously went nowhere for him there (although he did pretty well for himself) and I can't say Duggan's title reign gets much recognition. – WORKRATE: NR PERSONAL ENJOYMENT NR OVERALL NR
Here we are! 1995 is where it all got fun. WCW and WWF were heating up against eachother, upping the amount of Pay-Per-Views they offered fans for big matches to approximately one per month by this time. As said before Diesel & Shawn Michaels vs. Owen Hart & Yokozuna will be my WWF match, ECW held Gangstas Paradise, from which I shall review Raven & Stevie Richards vs. The Pitbulls, and WCW Fall Brawl 1995 I checked ahead and due to that I am picking The Renegade vs. Diamond Dallas Paige.
