Hulk Hogan enters the ring and he's not happy with the result. He tries to explain to the referee that Mr. Fuji blinded Bret Hart from ringside. The referee says he didn't see it and he's calling the match for Yokozuna. Mr Fuji grabs a microphone and tells Hogan to face Yokozuna. Hulk Hogan's more concerned with helping out Bret Hart. Mr Fuji says Yokozuna will put his WWF Championship on the line. Hogan pauses for a while and the crowd and Bret all tell him to do it. He enters the ring and the bell rings. Of course Jim Ross, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and Randy Savage are still on commentary.
YOKOZUNA (C) VS. HULK HOGAN
Wrestlemania IX (4th April 1993)
Yokozuna hits Hogan with a pair of right hands, holding him in place for Mr Fuji, who has another bag of salt in his attire. Hogan ducks the salt, decks Fuji and knocks down the champion with a clothesline. Hulk Hogan hits the leg drop and again becomes champion.
WINNER: HULK HOGAN (NEW WWF CHAMPION)
This is another squash match I wanted to get out here out of the way. I warn you now, next month at some point it shall be the Honky Tonk Man vs. Ultimate Warrior "match" from the first Summerslam. This in hindsight now think this match is just typical Hogan/McMahon politics of getting him on top, thinking he was in the Tag Team Championship match earlier in the night because the crowd didn't want him in the WWF Championship picture. The crowd's reaction proved me wrong. Not much of a match and I don't personally like the end of Hogan standing tall as champion again, but it's hard not to get invested when you can hear the crowd reaction. Obviously as a match it wasn't much though. Wrestling: DUD/5 Personal Enjoyment 3/5 Rating: 3/5
