Help out the blog by bookmarking this link to Amazon.

We begin with highlights of last week's episode. Cortez Castro (formerly Rickey Reyes), Big Ryck (formerly Ezekiel Jackson) and Mr. Cisco (The only lucha star, and a guy I had to look up) are in the ring to start us off. They introduce themselves and Big Ryck says Mundo knew his face but last week found out exactly who he is. Mundo storms the ring and takes down Cortez and Cisco whilst Ryck bails to the floor. Cisco makes a quick escape as Mundo focuses on Cortez. Mundo sends Cortez into the ropes but Cortez holds on to the top rope and scampers from the ring. Cisco hands Cortez a chair and he has another close by for himself. They get closer to the ring, but Prince Puma's out here! Puma is here to help his opponent from last week. That's the mutual respect between these guys. Dario Cueto comes out and says that if these guys are going to beat the hell out of each other he wants it to be official. We have our first match.

Mundo drops down and Puma flies over him hitting Cisco with a dropkick in the corner! Cortez charges the ring and it taken down with an enziguri by Mundo. Puma and Mundo climb to opposite corners and hit stereo 450 splashes to end the match.

Already Lucha Underground is one of the best companies for continuity. The end of the last episode lead straight into this match being made. The match itself was really good with the former Ricky Reyes showing he can still go. They showed Big Ryck's henchmen as a real unit against the makeshift team of Mundo and Puma, but as Puma and Mundo swung things in their favour they were able to show their versatillity and work well as a team with their complimenting styles. Speaking of styles the brawling from Cortez and Cisco helped to make Mundo and Puma's dives mean so much more when they hit. The fans loved it and it reminded me why these didn't get done. Lucha Underground is too easy to watch without stopping and reviewing. I've found my new addiction. – Wrestling: 3.5/5 Personal Enjoyment 4/5 Rating: 7.5/10

WINNERS: JOHNNY MUNDO & PRINCE PUMA

Johnny Mundo & Prince Puma celebrate in the ring to a standing ovation as Big Ryck walks off not looking happy. Vampiro notes a new brotherhood in the ring between those two guys as we go to commercial break. As we return we see Konnan in the changing room with Prince Puma. Konnan says Puma is Lucha Underground but he needs to leave Johnny Mundo and Johnny Mundo's fights alone. It gets a bit tense... Moving from that Vampiro and Matt Striker remind us of Mil Muertes' debut tonight, his name literally translates to 1,000 deaths. We get a video package for this delightful fellow and as a grown man I'm not scared to admit it freaked me out a bit.
