DESIRE VS. TRINITY

   Before the match, Goldilocks is backstage with Low Ki and Elix Skipper of Triple X. She sounds bored as she says Triple X robbed the NWA World Tag Team Championships. Elix Skipper says if she hangs out with him she will see a real robbery, Triple X just collaborated as a family. Low Ki Desire wants Goldy to interview her because Desire has a match next, but Goldy forgot. Desire insults Goldilocks’ boob job. 

  We go to a commercial break, and Desire enters through the crowd with the TNA X-Division champion, Sonny Siaki. Kid Kash leads Trinity to the ring, but she walks past him into Desire’s face. Kid Kash brings Trinity to the opposite side of the ring before leaving the ladies to it. 

Mike Tenay and Don West are on commentary for this match. Jeremy Borash is our ring announcer. 

DESIRE VS. TRINITY 

NWA:TNA Weekly PPV #31 (5th February 2003) 

  Trinity starts with forearms but she’s sent off the ropes. Trinity ducks a clothesline and dropkicks Desire down, Desire rolls out to the floor.

Kid Kash stands too close as Desire tries to regroup, she slaps Kash and Trinity gives chase, running into a kick from Sonny Siaki! Desire waits in the ring, Trinity crawls under the bottom rope but can’t get to her feet do Desire covers for 2. Desire slams Trinity’s head into the mat and sends her off the ropes into a back elbow, Trinity seems to run through it but gets clotheslined. Desire covers and gets 2 again, she goes to a chinlock on the mat. Trinity makes it to her feet but is sent back down to the canvas before she can break the hold. Desires stomps and kicks look terrible, but she peppers some in. Trinity is sent off the ropes but she hits a springboard crossbody for 2. Trinity takes Desire down with a headlocki, but Desire counters into a headscissors until Trinity kips up out of the hold to her feet. They botch a collision spot, but Trinity was supposed to run into Desire like she’s a brick wall for 2. Desire slams Trinity’s face into the mat before throwing her out to the floor where Siaki can boot her with cheap shots. Kid Kash is on the apron talking to the referee as this is happening, Sonny Siaki throws Trinity back in the ring.

Desire elbow drops Trinity and covers for 2. Desire chops Trinity, backing her into the ropes, Trinity takes another chop before switching places and firing back on Desire with chops of her own. Desire sends Trinity off the ropes and she gets tripped by Siaki. Sonny Siaki blames the camera man and we almost miss an enziguri by Desire, but we see Trinity get sent off the ropes into a back elbow. Trinity has a rough trip to the floor, by Sonny Siaki again. Siaki stands on Trinity’s hands as he pulls her up by the hair. Kid Kash makes his way around ringside, but referee Scott Armstrong gets in his way, turning his back on Siaki as he sends Trinity’s head into a chair at ringside. Siaki throws Trinity back in the ring. Desire chops Trinity against the ropes then sends her across the ring, Trinity runs into a clothesline, Desire covers but only gets 2. Desire sends Trinity across the ring again, this time Trinity catches the clothesline. Trinity hits a Northern Lights suplex but onlu gets 2, Sonny Siaki was ready to break up the pin.

Desire and Trinity exchange right hands, Trinity hits and enziguri and sends Desire off the ropes for a calf kick. Desire runs into a clothlesine but sends Trinity into the corner. Kid Kash helps Trinity block the monkey flip from ringside, grabbing her tights. Trinity hits a Moonsault from the top rope for the win. 

WINNER: TRINITY 

 This was a basic match, and that’s complimentary to it. It didn’t realistically need 8 minutes and they struggled to get 8 minutes just from these 2, it could have been half the match with Trinity still taking most of the heat and it could be a better match, they just looked off a step the whole match.
