JACKIE MOORE VS. GAIL KIM

 Before the match there’s a video package to show the build-up to this match. It starts with a catfight in the bathroom which is split up by security. Then Jackie called Gail Kim a slut and there was a catfight in the ring… This was the company that cared about womens’ wrestling at the time. Although this feud was an extension on the Chris Harris vs. James Storm feud. This was the first Knockouts Six sides of Steel match. Don West sound really happy about locking two women in a cage together at the end of the hype video.

  He’ll have to wait a bit longer though, Jackie Moore meets Gail on the ramp and takes a hip toss onto the steel. Jackie tries to walk out, but Gail Kim hits her with a forearm, sending her comically rolling down the ramp. Kim sends Jackie into the announce table

JACKIE MOORE VS. GAIL KIM

TNA Lockdown 2007

  Jackie Moore kicks Gail Kim away as the bell rings but gets sent into the guard rail. Gail Kim is sent over the announce table into Mike Tenay’s lap.

  Jackie Moore has Tenay’s water bottle and pours it over Gail’s head. Gail Kim fights back with a right hand and they walk around the ring, Gail clubs at Jackie’s back, and Jackie refuses to turn around for the chops that Gail Kim throws. Gail Kim brings it into the ring and stops to make sure the door is closed behind them. Jackie Moore connects with right hands but is taken down with a headscissors and a dropkick. Gail Kim tries to get out of the cage but Jackie stops her, Gail kicks Jackie away and hits a flying arm drag, Gail connects with right hands but Jackie stops her with a Stun Gun over the top rope. Jackie Moore hits a german suplex as we see a shot over the crowd. Gail Kim stops Jackie from going through the door and shoves her across the ring. Jackie Moore pulls Gail Kim into the corner and she hits the middle turnbuckle. Kim is trapped between the cage and the ropes so Jackie slams her head back and chokes her across the top rope before bringing her back into the ring over the top. Jackie Moore covers but Kim kicks out before 2.

  Jackie Moore climbs in the corner but is brought down by her ankle. Gail Kim starts climbing, she hits a sunset flip from the middle rope but Jackie makes it to the ropes. Jackie Moore sits on the cover, Gail Kim rolls through at 2 and Jackie kicks out. Jackie Moore hits a rough-looking clothesline and takes Gail Kim down with a hair snapmare and kicks her in the back before putting on a chinlock. Gail Kim fights to her feet, escaping with back elbows. Jackie Moore escapes a slam attempt and grabs a waistlock, they both run into the cage in the corner. This doesn’t look great. They slowly get to their feet, Gail Kim blocks punches and connects with her own before sending Jackie Moore off the ropes into a clothesline. Gail Kim runs at Jackie for another clothesline then scoops her up and slams her before climbing the corner. Gail Kim hits a missile dropkick and slowly covers but Jaqueline kicks out at 2. Gail Kim tries to walk out of the cage, but Jackie Moore meets her on the apron. They exchange back elbows next to the open door and Gail Kim slams the door back into Jackie’s face sending her back in the ring.

  Gail Kim decides that she doesn’t want to walk out, closing the cage door. Gail Kim climbs to the top of the cage and overshoots a crossbody, but it’s enough for the win.

WINNER: GAIL KIM

 . This was a disappointing match considering who was involved. They just seemed a step off from where they should be and the match didn’t seem to have a rhythm. Gail Kim overshooting the finish ended the match on a whimper when it really needed the ending to save it, which is never going to be a good thing. [*] 1.5/10
