Shane McMahon makes his way out and King calls him the Giant
Killer after his victory over Big Show at Judgement Day. Shane is reciting a
poem a la The Genius before the match and says he’ll win the King of the
Ring tournament. Rikishi makes his way out and JR shockingly gives him the
advantage in the match.
Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler are on
commentary for this match. Lillian Garcia is our ring announcer
SHANE McMAHON VS.
RIKISHI
(King of the
Ring 2000 qualifier)
WWF Raw (29th May 2000)
Shane McMahon jumpstarts the match
with right hands, but Rikishi absorbs them and shoves Shane across the ring.
Shane gets to his feet for half a second before a clothesline knocks him back
down and Rikishi gets in some receipts for the right hands.
The
crowd call Shane a pussy and Rikishi stomps on his midsection as Triple H
walks out for a nosey. Shane is sent off the ropes into a back drop and Triple
H gets on the apron, distracting Rikishi long enough for Shane to land a low
blow and follow up with his prancing jabs. Shane dances around because he
knocked Rikishi down but is costs him, Rikishi blocks the right hand and fires
off some of his own. Shane McMahon is sent into the corner and Rikishi follows
for a clothesline. Triple H is knocked off the apron as Shane slumps down in
the corner. Triple H blocks the Stink Face which JR calls out as an interference,
King thinks it’s fine since he’s WWF Champion. The referee seems to agree with
Lawler as he stands back. Rikishi sends Triple H into the corner and knocks him
down with a running hip attack.
Rikishi
sets up another Stink Face but Shane hits him with a chair to cause the
disqualification.
WINNER: RIKISHI (Via DQ)
[DUD] 0/10
After the match Shane hits Rikishi with a flying chair shot
and Triple H has to stomp the dent out of it before hitting a Pedigree to
Rikishi on the chair, giving Shane O Mac the visual victory.
