The whole title of the tournament being the Pat O’Connor International Tag Team Memorial Cup. I’ll stick with POCMC. The Steiner Brothers represent the USA in the tournament with our veterans representing South Africa. Col. DeKlerk would go on to be known more commonly as Rocco Rock of Public Enemy. The South African team enter first and Ross clears up that DeKlerk has the beard. The Steiner Brothers enter first and Paul E.’s voice already sounds shot. The Steiner brothers are the current NWA United States tag team Champions.

Rick Steiner starts with Sgt. Krueger, Rick gets a headlock but is dropped with a back suplex, Sgt. Krueger hits an elbow drop and covers but Rick kicks out at 1. Rick Steiner with the go-behind but Krueger grabs the ropes, Steiner rolls through hand knocks Krueger down with a Steinerline. Sgt. Krueger ducks the back elbow and kicks Steiner in the ribs before tagging out to Col. DeKlerk. They send Rick Steiner off the ropes but he runs through them with a double Steinerline. Col. DeKlerk attacks Rick from behind and slams him, and then a spinning kick sends Steiner through the ropes. Rick Steiner catches DeKlerk and powerbombs him on the floor but Sgt. Krueger attacks Rick from behind. They get back in the ring, and Rick Steiner ducks the clothesline, tagging in Scott. Scott Steiner slams both opponents and sends Col. DeKlerk off the ropes into a tilt-a-whirl slam. He signals for the Frankensteiner and sends Col. DeKlerk off the ropes. DeKlerk is spiked on his head and Scott Steiner covers for the win.
WINNERS: THE STEINER BROTHERS
This was a squash match for the Steiners who may be pulling triple duty through the night. The South Aftrican team got a little shine but the result was never in doubt. [*] 1.5/10
