SNITSKY VS. BIG SHOW

Before the match, ZZ Top are introduced at ringside by Lillian Garcia. She gets back to work and introduces Big Show for his match. Big Show stops at a Shrek 3 sign mocking him and Snitsky but my WWE Network starts freezing. Snitsky makes his way out, he attacked Big Show 3 weeks ago with the ring bell.

Jim Ross, Jerry “The King” Lawler and Jonathan Coachman are on commentary for this match.

SNITSKY VS. BIG SHOW

WWE Unforgiven 2005 (18th September 2005)

Big Show hammers at Snitsky as Snitsky tries to get in the ring, interrupting the catch-up clips. Big Show follows with boots as Coach complains he didn’t see the ring bell shot and Snitsky is tossed across the ring.

Big Show hits the overhand chop in the corner sends Snitsky for a walk, Big Show hip tosses Snitsky across the ring and headbutts him, but Snitsky begins to fight back with lefts and rights. Snitsky is dropped with a boot to the head, then Big Show puts his boot across Snitsky’s throat for a choke. Snitsky tries to walk out of the match but is clubbed from behind and sent back to the ring. Snitsky’s head is sent into the turnbuckle, Big Show shushes the crowd before another overhand chop. Snitsky goes for a walk and Big Show calls for it again but Snitsky escapes to ringside, kicking Big Show in the midsection when he follows. Big Show tries to clothesline Snitsky but runs into the ring post on the outside. Snitsky pulls Big Show’s shoulder into the ring post again before they both roll inside. Snitsky lays into Big Show’s shoulder with boots and puts him in a top wristlock, keeping his weight above Big Show as much as he can.

We finally see the ring bell shots from 3 weeks ago as Big Show fights to his feet and sends Snitsky across the ring. Snitsky cuts off a Chokeslam attempt with a kick to the shoulder, Big Show tries it again and Snitsky breaks Big Show’s grip with an ax handle. Big Show is backed into the ropes, he stops the momentum of the irish whip but Snitsky lands on his feet from the Chokeslam attempt. Snitsky is sent into the corner, but he sidesteps Big Show and attacks the leg, sending Big Show’s shoulder into the top turnbuckle. Big Show staggers out into a big back suplex! Snitsky covers but he can only get 2. Snitsky is backed into the ropes as Big Show fights to his feet. Big Show irish whips Snitsky, but the clothesline is ducked. Snitsky hits a shoulder tackle but Big Show doesn’t budge. Snitsky hits the ropes again and decks Big Show with a boot for another nearfall. Snitsky goes back to the top wristlock, Big Show isn’t much shorter whilst on one knee as commentary mentions the same thing and I look like I stole it. He fights his way to his feet and shoves Snitsky off the ropes into a standing spinebuster. The referee starts counting both guys down, Snitsky stirs at 4 but Big Show KIPS UP AT 6!

Big Show knocks Snitsky down with clotheslines and headbutts him back into the corner. Big Show hits the running splash in the corner and a shoulder tackle knocks Snitsky down. Big Show calls for the Chokeslam, hits it, and covers Snitsky for the win.

WINNER: BIG SHOW

This was a basic big man match, which is the best you can expect from Snitsky. Big Show just needed to re-establish himself on Raw and he was able to do that, the kip up and back suplex were almost worth sitting through it, and the Chokeslam miscommunication wasn’t too bad, but it just wasn’t a Pay-Per-View quality match. [*½] 2.5/10

Big Show goes to leave the ring, but hits Snitsky with the ring bell first to bring the story full circle. He doesn’t even get out of the ring before remembering the second shot from Snitsky, sending the receipt across the back of Snitsky’s head.
