LAY-COOL VS. BETH PHOENIX & NATALYA

Only one member of the team has to go through a table for the match to end in this match, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Matt Striker and Michael Cole are on commentary for this match. On the previous Smackdown Natalya and Phoenix brought a painted table for Lay-Cool but no one was put through it yet. Beth Phoenix enters first for her team. She waits on the apron for Natalya, who is the reigning Divas Champion.

LAY COOL VS. NATALYA & BETH PHOENIX (Tag Team Tables)

WWE Tables, Ladder and Chairs 2010 (19th December 2010)

Lay-Cool start on the attack, but it is quickly turned around by their opponents. Natalya slams McCool, and Phoenix stacks Layla on top. They go for the painted table and Natalya places it in the corner, Beth Phoenix lifts Michelle McCool onto her shoulders, Layla grabs Beth’s hair, but ends up in a fireman’s carry too. Lay-Cool slip out the back, Beth Phoenix turns around and clotheslines McCool down, Natalya cuts Layla off too, then dumps her to the floor. Phoenix knocks McCool off the apron but she clears the table, hitting the floor. Layla hits a dropkick through the ropes on Phoenix, then goes back to Natalya as Michelle McCool bounces Beth’s head off the table.Lay-Cool bring it back into the ring and stomp their opponents. Michelle McCool chokes Phoenix on the middle rope as Natalya staggers close to the table. Lay-Cool send her into the corner, Layla chokes Natalya with her boot before her partner is sent colliding into her in the corner.

Beth Phoenix is thrown to the floor as Layla gets another table from ringside, she’s joined by McCool as the referee checks on Phoenix, who landed on the back of her neck. The table is set up as Layla chokes Natalya in the corner, Michelle hits an elbow and they tease the table for a bit longer, Michelle McCool climbs to the middle rope and Layla sends Natalya’s head off the table. Natalya is set up in a Faithbreaker (or Styles Clash) but Phoenix pulls Layla out of the ring as she brings the table closer. Phoenix cuts off McCool and lifts her overhead, but Michelle McCool drops to her feet and cuts her off. Natalya and McCool knock each other down with a double clothesline, but Layla’s the only one on her feet, out on the floor. She gets back in the ring and stomps at Phoenix, then dropkicks Natalya through the ropes, setting her up on a table. Natalya quickly moves from the table but leaves Phoenix alone in the ring. Layla goes on the attack and sets a table up in the middle of the ring, but Phoenix fights off a suplex attempt. Layla clubs at her back but gets lifted, Natalya is back on her feet and grabs the legs for an assist but McCool is able to flip the table over and kicks Natalya in the kidneys to cut them off.

Natalya trips Beth Phoenix and teases a catapult into the table in the corner. Layla tries to run interference with a jumping forearm but she gets taken down and Natalya locks the Sharpshooter on both members of Lay-Cool! Beth Phoenix sets up the table as the Sharpshooter takes effect, but Lay-Cool start fighting from the ground. Phoenix is sent to the floor again, Layla kicks Natalya in the head. Lay-Cool double-team Natalya but she fights off a suplex, Michelle McCool perches her on the top rope as Layla sets up the table. Both members of Lay-Cool climb to the middle rope, but Beth grabs Layla’s leg, blocking the superplex. Layla sends Phoenix into the ring post and she falls to the floor again as Michelle clubs at Natalya on the turnbuckle. Natalya is able to fight off another double superplex attempt and shoves both members of Lay-Cool onto the table. It cracks but they don’t go through it so Natalya hits a crossbody to put an exclamation point on it.

WINNERS: BETH PHOENIX AND NATALYA

This was a good tables match, they all went out there and made it seem personal, as it should have been. Beth Phoenix woke up and chose to be Ricky Morton, with Natalya having to fight from underneath against the cohesive team also, you knew the finish had to involve the decorated table so they teased it enough without it getting tedious. [**¼] 4.75/10.
