The Holly Cousins make their way out for the match first, which was made by Stephanie McMahon earlier in the evening. They face Moolah and Mae, who enter as Jerry Lawler makes age jokes. He is on commentary with Michael Cole. Mae Young has Mark Henry by her side and Harvey Wippleman is with The Fabulous Moolah.
Michael Cole joins The King on commentary for this match, which was taped 28th December.
THE HOLLY COUSINS VS. FABULOUS MOOLAH & MAE YOUNG
WWF Smackdown (30th December 1999)
Moolah starts with Hardcore Holly, who shoves her down, causing King to cackle. Crash Holly is tagged in but gets taken down by The Fabulous Moolah. She makes a (frankly illegal) tag to Mae Young, but Teddy Long lets it go, Crash Holly shoves Mae Young down and that is TOO FAR! Crash stomps on Mae and tries to send her off the ropes but she flips like a “hip break toss” as Lawler calls it. Crash Holly slams Mae and climbs to the top rope, but Moolah shakes the rope. Crash Holly lands seated in the corner, Mae Young botches the bronco buster and turns around into a stiff clothesline by Hardcore Holly, Crash hits the running powerslam and puts us out of our misery.
WINNER: THE HOLLY COUSINS
I just thought to get a nothing match out there, since it
is the 21st anniversary and it helps me with some tags to clean up
next year. Mae screwed up most of what she had to do but they were out of the
way in no time. [DUD] 1/10.
