BIG BOSSMAN VS. THE ROCK

Before the match, Michael Cole is backstage and says “Stone Cold” Steve Austin has refused medical help after his beatdown earlier tonight. The Rock makes his way out for the last match in the first round.

 

Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler are on commentary for this match. DeGeneration-X’s music plays but Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco walk out to the ring instead. Brisco is the Spokesman, and finally confirms that Triple H is not here, so he is fining Triple H for not being here, although JR tells us he’s injured. Pat Patterson also gets mic time and tells us all that Triple H’s replacement is Big Bossman

After the match The Rock leaves Bossman shouting in the ring before he roars to the camera as if he’s been any help tonight. Jim Ross goes over the quarter finals, which will not include Austin thanks to the bye.
