LARRY ZBYZSKO VS. RAVEN

 Before the match Jeremy Borash is backstage with Larry Zbyszko, wearing a Ribera steakhouse jacket. Larry says he’s in the prime of his life (aged 54 at the time of the event) he’s forgotten more about wrestling than Raven could dream of knowing. Slick the referee shows up, telling Zbyszko he doesn’t have to go through with the match. He also announces himself as referee and says he’ll call it down the middle, making hair-cutting references.

 

  The prematch video references Raven’s last hair vs. hair match in the company Zbyszko calls Raven’s generation crybabies, whereas Raven says Zbyszko has had it in for him since day one. Larry Zbyszko enters with an entourage of security, looking confident. We move on to see the barbers' chair in front of Mike Tenay and Don West on commentary at ringside, then Raven enters from the side of the crowd.

  Larry Zbyzsko tries to attack Raven, who’s sitting in the corner, but trips over Slick Johnson’s foot. Zbyszko wants words but gets shoved on his ass. Raven covers getting an instant nearfall. Raven rubs the referee’s bald head for luck and he locks up with Zbyszko. They work their way around the ring, Raven has Zbyzsko against the corner and the ref forces a break. Larry Zbyzsko connects with a spinning kick to the gut then chokes Raven on the mat before covering, but Raven kicks out at 1. Zbyzsko trips Raven and puts on a spinning toehold, but Raven kicks his way free. Zbyzsko kicks at Raven’s knee and covers for 2, then goes back to the spinning toe hold. He is able to block some kicks from Raven, but one slips through and knocks Larry into Slick Johnson. Raven counters a piledriver into an Evenflow DDT, he covers for a visual win but has to wake the referee up. Larry Zbyzsko hits Raven with a low blow and covers for 2, then complains to the referee, allowing Raven to roll Zbyzsko up for another nearfall, Larry gets another nearfall with a small package. Raven counters an irish whip into an Evenflow and covers for the win.

WINNER: RAVEN

It wasn’t much of a match, but it gave Raven some payback for Zbyzsko abusing his power for a year, I would have given Raven longer to stretch out the assault though, cutting some of Larry’s offense.– As a match, it's ½* but personally, I'd rate it 0/10

After The match, Larry tries to walk out without getting his head shaved but is carried back by security. Raven has some tape from under the ring and uses it to secure Larry Zbyzsko to the barber’s chair for his haircut.
