KAITLYN (C) VS. TAMINA SNUKA

Brodus Clay and The Funkadactyls are backstage playing with the Mattel Power Slammers. Tensai shows up, Clay calls him Sweet T which he doesn't like then mocks the Japanese writing on his face. If his character mattered more it would be reminiscent of Vader's “Big fat piece of shit” promo. Cameron brings Tensai back around, dancing with Naomi and their pom-poms.

Michael Cole, John “Bradshaw” Layfield, and Jerry "The King" Lawler are on commentary for this match. Tamina Snuka enters first, Cole explains that this match was made official on the WWE App. Tamina used her legacy as Jimmy Snuka's daughter, before saying she worked hard to get the match and attacked Kaitlyn backstage. Kaitlyn won the WWE Divas Championship on Raw's 20th Anniversary episode. The referee holds Tamina back so we can see a promo from Kaitlyn

They lock up as Cole mentions that Tamina is using a lot of her dad's ring style lately. JBL says that's what you'd expect. Kaitlyn breaks the lock up and Tamina shoves her repeatedly. Kaitlyn counters an irish whip attempt into a waistlock and takes Tamina down, going into a front facelock. Tamina tries to fight out with right hands but Kaitlyn hits a suplex, Tamina Snuka charges but gets rolled up, Kaitlyn barely gets 2. Tamina backs through the ropes to slow Kaitlyn down, but it does no good as Kaitlyn catches her in a backslide for 2. Kaitlyn dropkicks Tamina, so she bails to ringside, Kaitlyn follows and we see the Funkadactyls, Natalya, and someone else I don't recognize watching from backstage. Tamina rolls all the way across the ring and back out to ringside, Kaitlyn hits her with a baseball slide dropkick and brings her back in. She gets back on the apron but Tamina Snuka catches her with a forearm and sends her into the ring post.

Tamina celebrates before bringing Kaitlyn back into the ring, Kaitlyn cuts her off with a kick to the midsection but Tamina answers with a big boot and gets a nearfall. She brings Kaitlyn up by her hair and hits a Samoan drop before climbing to the top rope. Kaitlyn rolls out of the way of the Superfly Splash, hitting a Spear on Tamina and covering, 1, 2, 3 to retain.

WINNER: KAITLYN (STILL WWE Divas Champion)

This match surprised me, I thought Tamina would dominate and Kaitlyn might get a lucky win but it was more even than that. It was my first time seeing Kaitlyn properly and so far she's impressed me. They got a decent amount into the short time without rushing through anything, and everything looked good..– As a match, it's * ¾ but personally, I'd rate it 3/10

Kaitlyn celebrates her win and we see a replay of the finish before an advertisement for Wrestlemania 29 in New York/New Jersey area plays, backed by "I'm Comin' Home" by Diddy & Skylar Grey. A reminder that it's 7th April, Cole mentions that's 7 weeks from tonight's event.
