RUSEV (C) VS. JACK SWAGGER

Rusev enters first with Lana, who grabs the microphone. Jack Swagger's music hits before she can say much. Rusev attacked Zeb Colter, Swagger's manager, a few weeks ago which is why Swagger looks so annoyed walking into this. Jerry "The King” Lawler, John “Bradshaw” Layfield and Michael Cole are on commentary for this one.

They exchange right hands to start, but Rusev ends it with a knee to the gut. Jack Swagger avoids a kick and lifts Rusev, dropping his ankle on to the bottom rope. Swagger tries to bring Rusev over to the ring post but is kicked away, so he gets back in the ring, meeting Rusev in the corner, he works on the leg more and Rusev takes a walk around ringside. The fans chant USA as Swagger ducks a clothesline and sends Rusev down with one of his own. Swagger runs at Rusev with a knee to the gut and tries to send him across the ring but his ankle buckles. Rusev runs into a bootJack Swagger celebrates too early and goes for the Vader Bomb but Rusev rolls out of the way, Swagger catches a kick, putting on the Patriot Lock, but Rusev is able to roll through, he tries to put the Accolade on Jack Swagger, but Swagger is able to make it to the ropes before it's locked in. Rusev drags Swagger back to the middle of the ring and puts the Accolade back on. Swagger gets his second wind and tries to fight out of the Accolade, he counters into a Patriot Lock! Rusev struggles and kicks at Jack Swagger, eventually breaking the hold and he rolls out of the ring. Swagger follows into a kick to the jaw. He gets back in the ring at 4, with Swagger just beating the count. Rusev connects with another kick and locks in the Accolade again. Swagger tries to fight it but he passes out and the referee calls the match.

WINNER: RUSEV (STILL WWE United States Champion)

This wasn't much of a match but they got a decent amount in, the work on Rusev's leg and ankle didn't seem to hinder his kicking near the end but that's a minor gripe. Swagger looked strong fighting out of the Accolade and not actually tapping out in the match, not much but it was a fun 5-minute match.– As a match it's * but personally, I'd rate it 2/10
