Before the match, Terry Funk is backstage with “Mean” Gene Okerlund. He says he's going to take tonight's prize money and use it to prepare for a World title shot, then spits tobacco at the camera.
When they get to the ring Terry Funk grabs the microphone. He says that he doesn't want to wrestle Spot. He asks Spot if he wants to wrestle Funk and he shakes his head. He proposes they walk out of the match and declare it a draw. Moondog Spot agrees. Terry Funk holds the ropes open but Moondog Spot refuses to go first, he follows Funk to the floor.

The bell rings with them on the floor, they both start walking up the entranceway but Funk attacks Spot from behind and runs back to ringside. Moondog Spot catches him and stops him from breaking the count. They brawl on the floor as the count continues and Terry Funk backdrops Moondog Spot back into the ring costing himself the match.
WINNER: MOONDOG SPOT
This was easily the most stupid way to lose for anyone. Possibly contested by Big Show stepping through a table in 2011 I believe?– As a match it's impossible to rate, it's too short so 0/10.
