KEVIN SULLIVAN VS. DAVE SULLIVAN

Before the match “Mean” Gene Okerlund has an interview with Ric Flair, he talks about his main event tonight against Hulk Hogan, which was billed to end one man's career. QueenSherri screeches near the end and even has a “Wooo” Tony Schiovane and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan are on commentary for this match. They go back to Dave Sullivan being the #1 Hulkamaniac, Kevin Sullivan doesn't like that, confronting him. Dave Sullivan gives him the weakest shot this side of a manager and Kevin bails. Kevin Sullivan enters first as Tony Schiovane plugs Dave's new song.

KEVIN SULLIVAN VS. DAVE SULLIVAN

WCW Halloween Havoc 1994 (23rd October 1994)

Kevin tries to jumpstart the match but Dave Sullivan blocks it and gets in right hands. He sends Kevin into the ropes and knocks him out of the ring with a back elbow. Dave chases his brother around ringside but is cut off with stomps as he gets back in. Kevin Sullivan sends Dave into the corner for overhand chops and kicks to the gut then brings him out with a short-arm clothesline. Kevin hits a dropkick as Schiovane makes reference to Wrestlemania 3, but Brain's having none of it, saying it's in the past. The fans count along as Dave sends Kevin's head into the top turnbuckle and he takes him down with a clothesline. Kevin Sullivan is sent across the ring into a backdrop but is able to send Dave out through the ropes. He sends Dave into the ringpost and gets back in the ring, ready to meet him on the apron with knee strikes. Dave Sullivan is able to fight his way to his feet in the ring, backing Kevin into the corner. Kevin Sullivan is sent across the ring but gets his boot up. Kevin Cannonballs on to the top of Dave's back and rakes his face.

Dave Sullivan is sent headfirst into the top turnbuckle and snapmared down. Kevin stomps on his throat, the goes to get a Hulk Hogan bandana, shoving it down Dave's throat. He stomps over Dave's midsection but is sent across the ring from the top turnbuckle. Dave Sullivan starts shoving the bandana into Kevin's mouth. He knocks him back into the ropes with a clothesline, then knocks Kevin down with the big boot. Kevin Sullivan holds up the bandana, allowing Dave to get close before hitting him with an uppercut. Kevin Sullivan takes it outside the ring, exchanging overhand chops and right hands. They brawl through the count, Dave is sent into the post and staggers back in the ring as Kevin is still outside at 10.

WINNER: DAVE SULLIVAN (COUNTOUT)

That match was just terrible. Nothing Dave Sullivan did looked effective, the story going into it was OK on paper but didn't make me care about the match and the finish was stupid. The only redeeming feature is that no one was hurt or botched anything too badly..– As a match it's ½* but personally, I'd rate it 0.5/10
