The story going into this match was that Goldberg wants to wrestle but the Athletic Commission isn't sure whether to clear him. Kronik wants to beat The Streak 2.0. Kronik gives Goldberg every second they can to be cleared by entering first. Mark Madden, Tony Schiovane and Stevie Ray are on commentary for this match. The fans chant for Goldberg as Kronik says he hasn't been cleared, so they claim the victory by forfeit. The referee raises their hand for the forfeit as the Athletic Commission decides to clear Goldberg. He gets his entrance through the backstage area.
GOLDBERG VS. KRONIK (Handicap Elimination)
WCW Halloween Havoc 2000 (29th October 2000)
Goldberg rushes the last hundred yards and powers through the clubbing attacks of Kronik. Brian Adams holds Goldberg as Clarke hits him with rights but Goldberg gets a hip toss. They go back to peppering him with shots and send him out to the floor. This time Bryan Clarke holds Goldberg as Adams gets free shots in. Goldberg tries fighting back, but the numbers game gets to him. Kronik send him back into the ring and knock him down with a double clothesline. Bian Adams brings a table into the ring as Clarke hits a DDT on Goldberg. The table is set up in the corner, Goldberg elbows his way out of a double chokeslam and a kick sends Brian Adams out of the ring. Bryan Clarke tries to suplex Goldberg but Goldberg lands on his feet, he ducks a clothesline and Spears Clarke through the table. He covers him on the table which is good enough for the elimination.
Brian Adams is back in the ring, he blindsides Goldberg and gets a vice grip on his head. He puts Goldberg in a full nelson, then slams him down. Adams covers for 2. Goldberg reverses an irish whip, leapfrogs over Brian Adams and hits the Spear, he slowly hits a Jackhammer to put an exclamation point on this match.
WINNER: GOLDBERG
This was a match that existed. It's only purpose was to send the fans home happy after the DQ finish in the last match, Kronik controlled for too much of the match, it began to drag and the whole thing is only 4 minutes long. That isn't a good thing– As a match it's * but personally I'd rate it 1/10
