BAYLEY (C) VS. SASHA BANKS

Bayley beat Sasha Banks for the title back at TakeOver: Brooklyn (here) and NXT General Manager William Regal announced the rematch would be a 30-minute Ironman match, it would also be the first Women's TakeOver main event. We see Lita, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Stephanie McMahon at ringside ready for the main event as the fans chant “women's wrestling” it used to be a joke that wrestling fans will chant anything, I'm starting to think now it's just a fact. We throw back to Rich Brennan, Corey Graves and Byron Saxton on commentary.

After the video package, Sasha Banks makes her way out, followed by Bayley who barely takes her eyes off the challenger. We get in-ring introductions for the big match, with both women having their supporters.

Bayley 3 – 2 Banks

WINNER: BAYLEY

I have to be honest, there was a lot of time-wasting through the match. I get that it was to create an atmosphere but with a clock in the background, it didn't do the flow of the match any favours for me. That aside, these two had an amazing match with a molten hot crowd. They escalated the match throughout and any time Bayley had a chance to be more aggressive to match her opponent, she took it. Sasha Banks looked like an amazing heel through the match and everyone was cheering for Bayley by the end of the match, even Sasha's fans– As a match it's **** but personally, I'd rate it 8.75/10

After the match general manager William Regal, Triple H, and Stephanie McMahon stand at the top of the walkway with the NXT roster to show their appreciation. Sasha Banks breaks down as Triple H walks into the ring to congratulate Bayley.
