Mr. Ass makes his way out first, Michael Cole and Kevin Kelly run down the card for tomorrow's Raw on commentary before Viscera makes his way to the ring. Oh boy, I can't wait for this mat classic!
VISCERA VS. BILLY GUNN (King of the Ring qualifier)
WWF Heat (30th May)
Viscera knocks down Billy Gunn as we're told what's coming up next on USA Network. He clubs at Gunn's back as the announcers go over Billy's recent history separating himself from DeGeneration X. Viscera knocks him down with a headbutt and sends him from corner to corner. He's sent the other way as we get details for Owen Hart's funeral, along with comments on how grateful she is to the WWF. Viscera elbows Gunn in the back of the head and sends him off the ropes. Billy Gunn ducks a clothesline but the crossbody is caught and Viscera quickly slams him down. Viscera says it's over but misses the splash as Gunn rolls out of the way. Billy Gunn gets some right hands but the irish whip is reversed and he's sent into the corner. Viscera charges and hits the turnbuckle. Billy Gunn hits the Fameasser to win and face Ken Shamrock in the next round.
WINNER: BILLY GUNN
I know he's called Mr. Ass, but I'm not doing it. This was another big man dominates and smaller (relatively in this case) escapes with the win, Billy Gunn was meant to be starting a push but he got a few shots in on Viscera before the finish.– As a match it's ½* but personally I'd rate it 0/10
