RONDA ROUSEY VS. RUBY RIOTT

On the 4th February episode of Raw, Ronda Rousey issued an open challenge for her Raw Women's title. The Riott Squad answered the challenge, with Sarah Logan accepting the challenge first, and being unsuccessful. Liv Morgan followed and was also beaten by Rousey. Ruby Riott took her Squad backstage instead of accepting the challenge but said in a backstage interview that she could defeat Rousey at any time. On 8th February this match was announced on WWE.com. Before the match an advertisement for the WWE Network Documentary; "The Mark Henry Story Worlds Strongest Man" airs then Charlotte Flair makes her way to the ring. She cuts a promo through the fans chanting for Becky Lynch.

Michael Cole, Renee Young and Corey Graves are on commentary for this match. The challenger enters first, then a pause before Ronda Rousey makes her way out in attire paying homage to Sonya Blade, who she voices in Mortal Kombat 11. We get in ring introductions to keep up the illusion that the match is important.

Ruby Riott kicks Rousey in the gut and takes her down, Riott rains down punches but Rousey throws her off. Ronda Rousey gets some judo throws on Ruby Riott, who bails to the floor and takes her frustration out on the barricade, Rousey ignores Charlotte Flair at ringside as Riott slides back in the ring momentarily, bailing back to ringside as Rousey approaches. Ruby Riott gets back in the ring again, backing through the ropes so Rousey has to keep her distance, Ruby Riott gets a cheap shot with a forearm, she kicks Rousey, sending her half way across the ring but runs into a hip throw. Ronda Rousey hits the Piper's Pit before putting in the armbar for the win. Even if Cole did say “Ronda taps out”

WINNER: RONDA ROUSEY (STIL Raw Women's Champion)

This was just a filler match, the post-match stuff was not just more interesting, but lasted longer than the match. This is how you can tell WWE stopped caring about Pay-Per-View buys, Network subscribers just keep paying! It was an exhibition for Rousey. – As a match, it's ½* but personally, I'd rate it 1.5/10 for the post-match Becky stuff.

After the match, Rousey, with her belt, faces off with Charlotte, who walks from ringside into Rousey's face. The fans are still chanting for Becky and she appears on crutches! She hobbles through the crowd and past security and gets into the ring. We get a shot of all three of them on the hard camera as the fans chant “She's The Man” for Becky Lynch who attacks Charlotte with her crutch!

Ronda Rousey watches on as it goes on almost as long as the match. Rousey grabs the crutch and Becky convinces her to go after Charlotte. Becky Lynch attacks Rousey from behind! I'm just going to say it, Becky's knee magically recovered whilst she was swinging the crutch. Referees and a pair of security guards run down to the ring, Becky is taken back out through the crowd, leaving Ronda and Charlotte in the ringside area.
