BRIAN LEE VS. TOMMY DREAMER

This match aired on Hardcore TV episode #167 (2^nd July). Beulah McGuillicutty and Kimona heel a trolley full of weapons out to the ring, where Brian Lee is waiting. Joey Styles flies solo on commentary for this match.

BRIAN LEE VS. TOMMY DREAMER (Weapons match)

ECW Hardcore Heaven (22^nd June 1996)

Tommy Dreamer attacks Prime Time from behind with a baking tray. Dreamer empties out some trash cans and nails Brian Lee with it, Dreamer takes too long emptying trash cans to see what he has and Lee clubs him on the back so Dreamer low blows him with a cane. Dreamer hits Lee on the back with a guitar as Styles mocks Honky Tonk Man and Dreamer sends Lee out of the ring. Dreamer hits Lee over the head with some wooden signs but gets sent into the guardrail. Lee gets a weapon shot in and sends Dreamer back in the ring. Everyone knows you can't win a weapons match outside....right? Brian Lee hits Dreamer with more junk in the ring and drives something into his forehead. Brian Lee claps Dreamer's ears with a pair of lids so Dreamer rolls outside. Tommy Dreamer hits Lee in the midsection with a box and bounces it off his head. Dreamer sends Brian Lee into the crowd but eats two chair shots as they go to the back of the arena and through to the parking lot. Tommy Dreamer is sent into a truck then into a steel door across the parking lot. Dreamer's busted open, so Lee repeatedly rams Tommy's wound into the door.

Tommy Dreamer is dragged to his feet, he grabs a chair a fan placed on a car and hits Lee with it. Tommy Dreamer sends Brian Lee into the door and we make our way back. The camera catches Tommy Dreamer getting suplexed onto concrete, hitting some fans on the way down. Brian Lee getting sent into a wall is the next thing we see as we continue the tour. Brian Lee gets sent into the original truck from when they entered the parking lot, at this point Dreamer also uses a cheese grater on Brian Lee's balls. There's time for Dreamer to get sent into another vehicle before we go back inside the arena. Brian Lee hits Dreamer with a chair at ringside but Dreamer cuts him off with a kendo stick. Dreamer hits Lee with a cookie sheet and they go back in the ring. The mailbox gets it next, followed by another. Tommy Dreamer smashes a violin over Brian Lee's back but is decked with a cookie sheet. Tommy Dreamer gets hit in the head with a mangled trash can and kicks Brian Lee low. Tommy Dreamer grabs a guitar then sends Lee across the ring, Tommy swings but Lee ducks under it, hitting Dreamer with a chokeslam. Brian Lee grabs a cinder block and a baseball bat as Joey Styles asks for the match to be stopped. The cinder-block is placed over Dreamer's groin but Beulah hits the ring! Her slaps have no effect on Lee as he grabs her throat, Kimona's also in the ring with Tommy on his feet. Tommy Dreamer has a stop sign but Kimona showing under her gown did the job better. Beulah hits Lee with the frying pan, he turns into a stop sign shot by Tommy, Dreamer drops the sign and spikes Lee on it with a DDT for the win.

WINNER: TOMMY DREAMER

They walked, hit each other with stuff and carried on. Not a lot to say besides it being an interesting finish that annoyingly ignored the hard camera. I think this is the longest match I've ever had nothing to say for. The after match activities make it noteworthy though. – WORKRATE: 1.5/5 PERSONAL ENJOYMENT 2.5/5 OVERALL 4/10

After the match the Bruise Brothers attack Tommy Dreamer and we go to commercial. It's when we return this gets interesting, as Brian Lee has Tommy Dreamer up on the Eagles Nest balcony above tables stacked by the Bruise Brothers. TOMMY DREAMER GETS CHOKESLAMMED THROUGH THE TABLES TO THE FLOOR! Joey Styles solemnly asks for an ambulance for Dreamer as we go off air.
