CODY RHODES VS. REY MYSTERIO

Josh Matthews and Booker T handle commentary for this match. Cody Rhodes enters first with empoyees to hand out paper bags. Rhodes has a microphone telling people the bags are to wear since they're extremely ugly. He really added to this portion of his run, 2011 Cody was awesome. Rey Mysterio follows him out to the ring and of course hands a young fan his extra mask. Rey has recently been drafted over to Raw so Cody wants to give him a send off he'll never forget.

WINNER: REY MYSTERIO

This match happened, they went straight to the outside to drill the stipulation into us but it just seemed like they were repeating a move-nearfall sequence for too long. Then they took it back to the ring and the finish they came up with involved impairing Cody's vision whilst he's wearing a mask... Right. I much preferred the Wrestlemania match. This is a perfect example of why people complain about “extreme” matches during the PG era. – WORKRATE: 1/5 PERSONAL ENJOYMENT 1.25/5 OVERALL 2.25/10
