Six days ago at No Mercy the ladies involved stunk up the joint were involved in a match that you can view here. In the 6-days since Dawn Marie dumped Al Wilson. That's where the storyline's going. Thankfully we have Kidman and a newly-promoted John Cena to distract us from that with some of that wrestling stuff. Michael Cole and Tazz are of course on commentary tonight. They go over the last couple of weeks with Torrie Wilson finding her father in the shower with Dawn Marie. Then the most recent Thursday's edition of Smackdown, Dawn Marie told Torrie she'd break it up. She was true to her word and that somehow led to a make-out session with him. John Cena comes out to no reaction whatsoever. Dawn Marie enters next of course. Billy Kidman holds a victory over Cena on the most recent episode of Smackdown and Tazz thinks he cheated. Torrie's out last but not least and we're ready to kick things off.
JOHN CENA & DAWN MARIE VS. BILLY KIDMAN & TORRIE WILSON (MIXED TAG TEAM MATCH)

Cena and Kidman have to stop the women getting into a catfight and Cena uses the distraction to attack Kidman from behind. Billy Kidman is sent across the ring and he ducks a clothesline, coming back with a flying headscissors. John Cena's sent into the corner but he reverses an irish whip, Kidman floats over and lands on Cena's shoulders so Cena drops his throat across the top rope. Cena beats down Kidman as Cole explains this began when Cena and Kidman lost in the WWE Tag Team Championships tournament. Cena sends Kidman back first into the turnbuckle as Cole recaps the 50/50 booking. Cena lifts Kidman for a delayed vertical suplex whilst cranking out a couple of squats but Kidman takes advantage of the wasted time slipping behind Cena and rolling him up for a nearfall. Cena is able to knock Kidman down with a clothesline and Dawn Marie tags herself in. She kicks Kidman's ribs, but he gets to his feet and catches her foot the third time. Kidman blocks a slap and the crowd want Torrie in the ring. Kidman kindly tags out and holds Dawn Marie in place for a spanking.
Torrie Wilson sends Dawn Marie off the ropes and leapfrogs her before taking her down with an arm drag. Dawn Marie's only able to get up to her knees before Wilson hits her with a dropkick for a nearfall. Dawn Marie is sent into the corner but she avoids impact and floats over Wilson, rolling her up for a nearfall. Dawn Marie hits a facebuster for another nearfall. Torrie Wilson is sent off the ropes and rolls under a clothesline attempt which is nice, but that leads into the double-leg takedown into a roll all over the ring. This time the referee is able to jump over it twice so Kidman takes his place in “breaking it up” on the floor. Dawn Marie isn't happy with Kidman's actions and the referee goes over there to make sure she doesn't go batshit crazy on him. This allows Cena to scoop slam Torrie Wilson to the only reaction he got all night. Dawn Marie stomps Wilson and hits the falling headbutt of suspicion. Torrie Wilson is able to kick her off but that gives Cena the tag.
John Cena knocks Billy Kidman off the apron. He brings Torrie Wilson to her feet before forcing her back to her knees. His face insinuated an action that the camera (thankfully) wasn't lined up for. Torrie Wilson hit him low and got the tag to Kidman, who just got back on the apron. Kidman hits a flying back elbow to knock Cena down. Cena gets knocked down a second time with a clothesline, then a beautiful dropkick by Kidman gets him a nearfall. John Cena reverses an irish whip and Marie knees Kidman in the back from the apron. Billy Kidman brings her over the top rope by her hair but runs into a standing spinebuster by Cena. Cena covers and gets a nearfall, he looks PISSED. He lifts Kidman for a back suplex but Kidman lands on his feet and springboards off the corner with a bulldog, covering for 2. Dawn Marie breaks it up, but Kidman saw her and she landed on Cena. Torrie Wilson enters the ring and takes Dawn Marie down, they roll to the outside. Kidman slides out the back from a scoop slam, Cena catches his foot but an enziguri finds its mark. Billy Kidman drags John Cena into place and hits the Shooting Star Press (although he only just caught him with a headbutt instead) for the win.
WINNERS: BILLY KIDMAN & TORRIE WILSON
I mean, it was what it was. They worked well, everyone got a bit of time and I can really see potential as a heel for John Cena. I hope his new Part-Time role might involve him working heel as a grizzled veteran that won't let his Glory Days go or something. Anyway enough fantasy booking. The match was pretty solid, Cena looked great despite the silence he entered to, Billy Kidman showed the veteran he is and the women furthered their storyline. Honestly, I wish this match was shown for No Mercy instead. – WORKRATE: 2.25/5 PERSONAL ENJOYMENT 2/5 OVERALL 4.25/10
Billy Kidman and Torrie Wilson celebrate their victory in the ring. Torrie makes out with Kidman before leaving and Billy Kidman looks pleased with himself as we get a replay of the spanking because of course, we do. After that there's an interview backstage with Edge basically saying whether he has to pin Brock Lesnar or Paul Heyman tonight, he'll leave with the WWE Championship.
The next match including a female wrestler was THAT "I Quit" match, which doesn't get me closer to my List to 250. At this point the women on Smackdown still had nothing to fight for so their main in-ring experience came from mixed tag teams like this one. Tomorrow is another case of this as The Dudley Boyz team with Dawn Marie this time to face the makeshift team of Charlie Haas and.... ugh. Rico, they also team with Charlie Haas' girlfriend and valet Jackie Gayda.
