CRAIG PITTMAN VS. COBRA

Tony Schiovane and Bobby “The Brain” Heenan are on commentary. Before the match “Mean” Gene Okerlund has a backstage interview with Ric Flair about his match against Arn Anderson tonight. He says that himself and Anderson travelled, sweat, bled, and even cried together, but tonight they face off. Ironically, it's in Horsemen country. Okerlund asks if Flair hates Anderson. Flair says he loves him, but it's going to be tough love tonight.

Cobra enters the match first and gives his dog tags to a young fan, so I now know he's the face. Craig Pittman's music plays, but he's sent someone else out. They are able to distract the referee and Cobra long enough for Pittman to rappel down from the ceiling to the floor, unhook himself and sneak into the ring. He attacks Cobra from behind with his bullet belt and chokes him on the mat.

SARGEANT CRAIG PITTMAN VS. COBRA
WCW Fall Brawl (17th September 1995)

The referee rings the bell to start the match, so Craig Pittman stomps Cobra instead. Pittman sends Cobra out of the ring, following him with a stomp to the back of the knee. Pittman gets right hands in and grinds his forearm on Cobra's face. Cobra is able to reverse an irish whip, sending Pittman into the ring post. Pittman is sent into the ring, but he's able to avoid a splash from the top rope, sending Cobra into the mat. Pittman locks in an arm bar he calls the Code Red, and the referee calls the match in his favour when Cobra won't respond.

WINNER: “SARGEANT PITBULL” CRAIG PITTMAN

I saw this match was less than 90 seconds so I thought I'd throw it on top. It just seemed like an exhibition for Pittman. These two had some militarily related feud or something. I don't know what this was supposed to achieve but it was there, and it wasn't offensive. – WORKRATE: 2.5/5 PERSONAL ENJOYMENT 2.5/5 OVERALL 5/10
