Before the match, Okerlund is outside Sapphire's locker room door with a frantic Dusty Rhodes. Rhodes wants Sapphire in his corner for the match but we can hear his music in the background so he'll have to do this one alone and come back for Sapphire later. Sean Mooney interviews Savage as Rhodes makes his way to the ring and Savage says the rumours must be true about Sapphire, she's enjoying the high life and doesn't want to be with a commoner like Rhodes. This leads to Savage making his way out for the match, lead by Queen Sherri and carried on a throne by 4 servants.Savage finally makes it in the ring and Ted DiBiase shows up on a raised platform at the top of the entranceway. His microphone is finally turned on so he can tell Dusty Rhodes that he bought Sapphire away from Rhodes. Who else could get her these expensive gifts? Dusty Rhodes comes after DiBiase giving Savage an opening to attack from behind on the entrance way. Savage beats Dusty back towards the ring and throws him inside for the match to officially start.

Savage climbs to the top, hitting Rhodes with an axe handle as he gets to his feet. Rhodes tries to escape the ring but Savage chokes him near the ropes. Savage brings the referee away from Rhodes allowing Sherri to get a cheap shot in from the floor. Savage back to choking and Sherri instantly gets involved again choking Rhodes with her shin. Savage vaults over the top rope and brings Rhodes' head hanging to the outside, dropping an elbow to him. Rhodes gets to his feet in the corner but Savage is on him with right hands. Savage rakes at Rhodes' face before the referee forces him to back away. Savage shoves the referee out of the way but Rhodes has his opening and sends Savage into the corner. Rhodes hits a Bionic elbow knocking Savage down and jabs at him. Savage staggers out of the corner into the double shot, sending him into another corner. Piper thinks Rhodes should go for the kill as he brings Savage out of the corner and knocks him down with another elbow. Savage stands into a second consecutive Bionic elbow and a DROPKICK from Rhodes sends Savage out to the floor. Dusty Rhodes gives chase but Savage hides behind Sherri. The referee tries to get Rhodes back in the ring as Sherri hands Savage an object behind his back. Sherri kicks at Rhodes from the apron but misses, Rhodes chases Sherri across the ring and gets his hands on her, but the referee begs him off. Savage clocks Rhodes from behind with a shoe! Savage covers for the cheap victory.
WINNER: RANDY SAVAGE
A nice lead on from the Sherri/Sapphire segment, it really is a secondary story all night between these 4. The match didn't take up too much time and Rhodes' distraction combined with Sapphire not being there to neutralise Sherri cost him the match. Savage had to use underhanded tactics to get the advantage over Rhodes and stop him building momentum. Work Rate: 3.0 Personal Enjoyment: 2.25 OVERALL: 5.25
Dusty Rhodes is still knocked out as Randy Savage walks Sherri to the back. Roddy Piper is disappointed with Dusty Rhodes. Sean Mooney is in the back waiting by Ted DiBiase's private suite. DiBiase's limo has just pulled up but DiBiase refuses to answer any questions. Back at ringside Dusty Rhodes has come to and he's running up the entranceway, but he can't get to the limo before they drive off.
