DANIEL BRYAN (C) VS. RANDY ORTON

The celebration takes a suspiciously long time as Michael Cole goes on about Bryan's big victory. Cena gets to his feet and turns Bryan around aggressively, he holds out his hand to Bryan and Bryan shakes it. Cena shakes Triple H's hand thanking him for calling it down the middle before leaving. Mr. Money in the Bank Randy Orton makes his way down to ringside and holds his briefcase up to Bryan. Orton turns to leave, having sent his message to the new Champion. Bryan celebrates with more "Yes" chants before Triple H hits him with the Pedigree! Randy Orton turns around and decides to cash in his contract now.

WWE Summerslam (18th August 2013)

Randy Orton hands Triple H the briefcase and covers Daniel Bryan to win the WWE Championship and kill every child's hopes and dreams.

WINNER: RANDY ORTON (NEW WWE CHAMPION)

It's a Money in the Bank cash-in. Randy Orton cut Daniel Bryan's celebration short and took advantage of a Triple H pedigree. It began the Authority storyline, and even this leg of it went from Summerslam until Wrestlemania which is a long time to drag it out with weekly television. I enjoy the fact that this angle worked fans up so much and got them to show their passion and really get behind Bryan during the home straight on his road to the top but really that's the only redeeming quality. – WORKRATE: DUD/5 PERSONAL ENJOYMENT 1/5 Overall: 1/10

Unfortunately after the story that culminated in Bryan winning the WWE World Heavyweight championship (now the former two separate championships unified) he had to retire, so I shall take Randy Orton, John Cena and Triple H. Randy Orton faced Roman Reigns in 2014, with John Cena facing Brock Lesnar again defending the main belt on the biggest Summer show. Triple H decided not to put his trunks on for the show, instead allowing his wife the honor.
