  Before the match, we see the Hall of Fame Class of 2016, Stan Hansen, The Big Bossman (represented by his family), Snoop Dogg, Joan Lundon, Jaqueline, The Fabulous Freebirds and the headliner himself with an entrance, Sting. Cole uses Jaqueline's induction as a segway to the video package from earlier tonight on the kickoff show where her fellow Hall of Fame Diva Lita unveiled a new championship. The new WWE Women's championship because the women are more than just Divas, they are WWE Superstars. They had to put it on the Kickoff Show so they could make sure they had time to show a replay on the main show. After this we get a video package for Women's and Divas Champions in WWE and into the Divas Revolution between Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch, beginning in NXT and carrying through to tonight. I really liked it. One of the best promotional videos I've seen in a long time.

  Becky Lynch enters first and she gets a great reaction from the crowd. We see Lita stood in the ring holding the new championship belt that the winner will receive at the end of the match. 2016 Hall of Fame inductee Snoop Dogg and Raven Felix enter for a mini-concert to sing Banks out. Snoop accompanies his cousin to the ring, and Michael Cole mentions that Banks' gear is paying homage to her hero Eddie Guerrero. JBL says he knew Eddie well and it's great to see respect like that shown to her friend. Charlotte accompanied to the ring by her father, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair. Two-time WWE Hall of Famer. Charlotte's robe has pieces of Ric Flair's retirement robe from Wrestlemania 24. Charlotte has been WWE Divas champion for 196 days. The longest reign that belt has ever seen, and now the longest reign it will ever see with this new championship tonight. All three women are making their Wrestlemania debuts. They get special in-ring announcements from Lillian Garcia.

Wrestlemania 32 (3^rd April 2016)

The bell rings and Charlotte attacks both challengers with a forearm. Lynch and Banks both duck the double clothesline and double-team Charlotte. Banks rolls up Lynch and gets 1, Lynch gets a drop toe hold and roll up for a 1 count of her own. Lynch gets a double-leg take down and jackknife cover, but Lynch bridges out, Backslide gets 2 before Charlotte flips over for a sunset flip on Lynch, Banks gets the crucifix on Charlotte but Lynch hits a leg drop. Lynch stands up into a boot from Charlotte sending her out of the ring. Banks attacks Charlotte and hits a Lucha style headscissors scaling the ropes. Charlotte regroups in the corner and counters a monkey flip, dumping Banks on the top turnbuckle. Lynch now back in the ring, but Charlotte sees her, standing switch on a waistlock, Lynch sends Charlotte into the corner and Banks leaps over them. Banks tries to roll them both up, but Charlotte rolls out of the ring, nearfall on Lynch.

Becky Lynch attempts a german suplex, but Banks ducks it and goes between her legs, they run the ropes looking awkward for five seconds before Lynch hits a pair of arm drags, keeping Banks down after the second. Banks rolls through and Lynch tries to send her into the ropes but Banks stops the momentum and hits a back elbow. Banks picks up some speed but Charlotte trips her from the outside and swings her out of the ring. Charlotte sends Banks into the bottom rope and lets her drop to the floor. Lynch comes flying from the apron knocking the champion down and returns her to the ring. Charlotte ducks a clothesline and gets a single-leg takedown. Lynch kicks Charlotte off and gets to her feet, side kick to the gut followed by a face smash to Lynch's knee arm trapped DDT gets her a nearfall. Lynch takes her time climbing to the bottom rope, but boots Charlotte away, she springs to the second but gets hit on the spine, and Charlotte hits a Rude Awakening! 1, 2 no!

Byron Saxton finally gets a line in as he says Charlotte is showing some urgency whilst she has this one on one scenario with Lynch. Charlotte hits Lynch's head off the canvas and covers again for 2. Charlotte attacks Lynch's left knee, setting up for her Figure 8, but Lynch fights her off. Banks explodes back into the fight ramming Charlotte in the corner with shoulder blocks. Banks sets Charlotte up on the middle rope but Lynch isn't far from the fight, Banks catches her in the headscissors but Lynch sends Banks over the top rope freefalling all the way to the floor! Becky Lynch charges at Charlotte but misses a flying forearm and gets rolled up, Lynch kicks out and she has hold of Charlotte's arm! Becky tries to lock in the Disarm-her but Charlotte's fighting it. Charlotte rolls Lynch up and she has to release the hold to kick out. Lynch right back on it though! Ric Flair's on the apron, and Charlotte's fighting it until Banks breaks it up! Lynch sends Banks outside but Charlotte attacks her from behind with a back breaker! Charlotte locks in the figure four away from the ropes, but her arm's stopping her getting the figure eight! Banks from the top with a frog splash, homage to Eddie Guerrero! 1, 2, 2.999999! Charlotte kicks out at the last second!

We get an instant replay and Banks kicks Charlotte in the gut when they get to their feet in the ring, Lynch back in the fray though and she tries a german on Sasha Banks, Banks avoids the first attempt but can't avoid the second, that looked savage. Lynch tries to bring Charlotte to her feet, but Charlotte counters with a stunner, Lynch counters an arm bar attempt into a pumphandle Rock Bottm like move, 1, 2, no! Banks breaks it up, Banks and Lynch left in the ring, Lynch hits an uppercut but Banks blocks the second, she blocks a forearm and tries to roll Lynch up but Lynch counters, getting a nearfall. Lynch grabs control of the arm and Banks sends her into the corner, Lynch dodges an attack sending Banks into the corner instead but Banks rolls out of the way of a kick. Banks hits a double-knee strike in the corner before dumping Lynch on the mat. Lynch rolls through, Banks picks up speed and attemps a hurricanrana but Lynch lifts her overhead, Banks ducks a clothesline, diving at Charlotte through the ropes!

Sasha Banks and Ric Flair take part in a “woo” competition until Lynch dives through the ropes on Naitch! Charlotte's on her feet on the apron and she climbs to the top turnbuckle and hits a moonsault to Banks and Lynch on the floor! Charlotte throws them both back in the ring and hits a double Natural Selection! Charlotte covers Lynch who kicks out at 2, Charlotte goes straight over to Banks but only gets a nearfall from that too. Charlotte gets another nearfall on each challenger before sending Lynch into the ring post. Charlotte tries to powerbomb Banks, but Banks trying to counter with a hurricanrana, Charlotte powering her back up but Banks has shuffled around to an electric chair position, Becky Lynch hits a dropkick off the top rope! Lynch covers Charlotte getting 2, Dis-arm her! Charlotte tries to crawl to the bottom rope but it won't make a difference. Lynch rolls her through and Banks breaks it up! Banks locks in the Banks Statement on Lynch, Banks rolls all the way through a roll up attempt to another Banks Statement! Charlotte breaks it up with a Figure four on Banks! She gets the leverage for the figure eight but Banks fights it. Banks attacks Charlotte and rolls over, reversing the pressure! Charlotte rolls through and bridges all the way up for figure eight! Lynch pulls Sasha under the ropes to stop any tap out from counting.

Charlotte chops at both her challengers whilst all three women are on their knees, and gets ambushed with forearms and clubbing blows. Lynch and Banks hit each other with a hard forearm. Another hard shot by Lynch before Charlotte spears Banks out of the ring, Lynch sends Charlotte into the corner and forces her on the top rope, Banks appears back on the apron attacking Charlotte and she sends Lynch to the mat. Lynch quickly back to her feet trips Banks into the tree of woe with Charlotte still trying to fight them both off from the top turnbuckle. Lynch hits a fisherman superplex on Charlotte who rolls out of the ring. Banks is able to get up from the tree of woe and kick herself off the turnbuckles, hitting a lung blower and rolling straight through to the Banks Statement. Charlotte sends Banks out of the ring awkwardsly and applies the figure four, straight away bridging for the figure eight! Ric Flair holds Banks and Lynch is forced to tap out.

WINNER: CHARLOTTE (FIRST WWE WOMEN'S CHAMPION)

I have heard a lot of ramblings on the internet about this match being amazing. The start was quite slow for me but it picked up with the frog splash from Banks. She got so much showcase before the match I didn't think they'd pull the trigger on her winning. Charlotte only had some of her father's hand-me-downs and got the win. Sasha Banks was a walking tribute to Eddie Guerrero, but in that the only Sasha Banks move I saw was the Banks statement, paying homage is fine, but she really felt like an Eddie Guerrero tribute act, and I don't mean that as a good thing. Awkward finish aside this was definitely a match worth watching for the Divas Revolution. – Rating:6.7 /10
