EDDIE GUERRERO (C) VS. PERRY SATURN

 Eddie Guerrero makes his way out with Chyna, we see Perry Saturn taking on both pf them the previous Thursday before Perry Saturn and Terri Runnels make their way to the ring. Chyna runs down to meet them on the ramp as Terri flees. Saturn is knocked down by a forearm shot before she gives chase. Perry Saturn knocks Chyna down as she catches up with Terri and Eddie’s right behind him to even the numbers.

Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler are on commentary for this match. Howard Finkel is our ring announcer.

WWF Fully Loaded 2000 (23^rd July 2000)

  Eddie Guerrero brings Saturn back to the ring so the match can officially start and knocks him back into the corner.

  Eddie Guerrero beats down on Saturn and kicks him in the corner, running down the count. Saturn misses a haymaker out of the corner and they stumble into a back suplex and Tope Con Hilo from Guerrero. Lawler blames Chyna for the dissention in the Radicalz and we see the graphic to show the title’s on the line as Saturn is sent off the ropes into a leg lariat. Perry Saturn goes for a break on the floor but Chyna runs through him and helps him back in the ring. Eddie sends Saturn’s head into the turnbuckle and sets him up for a super hurricanrana before mounted punches on the mat, Eddie covers and gets a 2-count. Saturn is sent off the ropes into a clothesline, Eddie connects with weak stomps before keeping Saturn on the mat with an armbar. Perry Saturn is dumped to the outside so Eddie can chat with the referee as Chyna sends him into the ring steps. Chyna connects with a right hand which sets up Eddie for a crossbody from the top rope to the floor.

  Perry Saturn is sent back in the ring, Eddie goes back to the top rope and hits a flying hurricanrana for 2. Eddie Guerrero connects with a European uppercut, but Perry Saturn gets an electric chair powerbomb, buying himself some time, Saturn gets to his feet in the corner but Eddie closes the gap and connects with shoulder thrusts and right hands. Saturn pokes Eddie in the eye and they switch places, Saturn alternates right hands and chops before going to send Eddie across the ring, then changing direction. Saturn runs into Eddie’s forearm in the corner, and Guerrero hits a tornado DDT from the middle rope, busting open the top of Perry Saturn’s head. Eddie covers but Saturn gets his shoulder up at 2. Perry Saturn reverses an irish whip, Eddie catches him with a headscissors in the corner but Saturn drops Eddie to the mat. Eddie Guerrero is sent off the ropes, Saturn throws him in the air and lets him freefall before covering for 2. Eddie is sent off the ropes and he catches Saturn with a hurricanrana. Perry Saturn lands on his feet from the suplex but is met with elbows to the head. Saturn knees Guerrero in the midsection but his suplex attempt is countered as Eddie lands on his feet.

  Perry Saturn goes prone as Eddie runs the ropes, Guerrero tries to jump into a hurricanrana but is powerbombed down. Saturn drags Guerrero into position for the moonsault but Eddie rolls out of the way, Eddie hits the brainbuster and calls for the Frog Splash, Saturn rolls out of the way and Eddie rolls through it. Saturn leapfrogs Eddie, Eddie jumps on Saturn’s shoulders in the electric chair but can’t get himself around for the hurricanrana so he’s planted face first. Saturn rolls Eddie into a quarter nelson (according to JR) but only gets 2. Saturn hits the standing powerslam and goes to the top rope but Eddie meets him there with right hands and headbutts, Eddie knocks Saturn to the floor with a sweet dropkick. Chyna goes to interfere but Saturn catches her with a right hand. Perry Saturn clotheslines Chyna over the announce table, enough to break it. Terri Runnels is jogging back down to the ring, Perry Saturn uses her as a human shield and she’s in the perfect position to kick Eddie low.

Perry Saturn sends Eddie into the ring post before bringing it back into the ring, he hits the flying elbow drop to the kidneys for the win.

WINNER: PERRY SATURN (NEW WWF European Champion)

This was a match. They did OK in the time, but nothing seemed to mean much, they’ve both had much better matches and this isn’t one I’ll particularly remember a few weeks from now. [*¾] 3/10
