STARDUST VS. ZACK RYDER

Before the match, the preshow panel discuss Nikki Bella defending her WWE Divas Championship against Paige and Naomi. No one will be at ringside for the match. Booker T’s calling it for Naomi, Corey Graves says it’s more difficult than that even with Naomi’s momentum. Byron Saxton says Nikki Bella will do anything to retain. Booker T takes a moment to congratulate his Harlem Heat partner, and brother Stevie Ray on the WWE Legends contract.

There’s a video promoting the WWE Intercontinental Championship Elimination Chamber match later tonight. Michael Cole plugs the Tough Enough app.

John “Bradshaw” Layfield, Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler are on commentary. Lillian Garcia is our ring announcer. We see Zack Ryder answering John Cena’s United States Championship open challenge as he makes his way to the ring. Stardust makes his way out to the ring as we get an advertisement in for Mountain Dew: Kick Start.

The former Cody Rhodes puts Ryder in a bow and arrow lock but it’s reversed into a pinfall attempt for 2. Stardust knocks Ryder down with a clothesline and drives his knee into Ryder’s ribs and kidney area before keeping him on the mat with an armbar.

JBL says that Dean Ambrose is a terrible company representative as Ryder counters a suplex into a neckbreaker, giving us a double-down. Stardust walks into a back elbow and Ryder knocks him down with a running forearm. Zack Ryder is sent into the corner but he gets his knees up on the charge, completely eating shit on a move from the top rope. Stardust sends Zack Ryder over to the apron, Ryder low-bridges the top rope and Stardust hits the floor. Zack Ryder hits a dropkick from the apron. After using the count on the floor to rest up, Ryder sends Stardust back into the ring. Zack Ryder tries a sunset flip, Stardust sits down into the cover but is caught using the ropes. Zack Ryder rolls Stardust up and gets 2. Stardust hits a Side Effect but is shoved into the corner. Zack Ryder knocks Stardust down and hits the Broski Boot. 1, 2, no!

Zack Ryder calls for the Rough Ryder, Stardust counters but Ryder stops his momentum before he hits the corner. Stardust ducks an enziguri and hits the Queen’s Crossbow (the old CrossRhodes) and covers for the win.

WINNER: STARDUST

This was a decent match, but because it was on the preshow commentary didn’t care too much. [DUD] 0/10
