Randy Orton is backstage with Charles Robinson Orton says he and Charles have been friends for a long time but they have to put that aside so his match will be called down the middle, Charles Robinson says he will do as The Authority said. This leads to commentary hyping next month’s TLC Pay-Per-View event and goes up to the preshow panel; Josh Matthews, MickFoley, Booker T, and Bret Hart. One of those names isn’t like the others. We don’t even get to hear from the panel as Ryback comes out to the ring, he calls the panels old-timers and cowards before issuing an open challenge. Michael Cole mentions that Great Khali was the one that answered the challenge on Smackdown the previous Friday. Mark Henry’s music hits and he makes his return from a torn hamstring. This was the debut of his Rick Ross look.

RYBACK VS. MARK
HENRY
WWE Survivor Series 2013 (24th November 2013)
They lock up, and Ryback backs Henry into the
corner. Another lockup, Mark Henry shoves Ryback down and they go for the
tie-breaker. Ryback clubs at Mark Henry and hits the ropes but is dropped with
a shoulder tackle.
Ryback slips out of the back of the powerslam
and cuts Henry down with a chop-block, he hits a running splash and covers for
2. Ryback goes back to clubbing on Henry and helps him along with a boot before
suplexing him over easier than should be humanly possible. The fans chant Goldberg
at Ryback and he misses a shoulder thrust in the corner, hitting the post with
his shoulder and falling out of the ring. Mark Henry headbutts Ryback as he
gets back in the ring, knocking him down. Mark Henry with a crawling headbutt
to Ryback, he covers by Ryback gets the rope. Ryback is able to get to his feet
and pokes Mark Henry in the eye and chop blocks him down again, Ryback applies
a chinlock on the mat to stop anything from getting too exciting to keep Mark
Henry on the mat. Mark Henry works to his feet and breaks free, headbutting
Ryback down. Ryback tries to irish whip Mark Henry, but is sent into the ropes
himself and runs into another shoulder tackle.
Mark Henry runs through Ryback with a clothesline and hits a running powerslam for a nearfall. Ryback counters a World’s Strongest Slam and hits a standing spinebuster. Mark Henry gets to his feet in the corner as Ryback pumps himself up. MARK HENRY WITH A CROSSBODY OUT OF THE CORNER! Henry hits the World’s Strongest Slam to win.
WINNER: MARK HENRY
This was just a short match to bring Mark Henry back, but
it didn’t do much for Ryback, who realy needed rehabilitating by now if not
sooner. They both looked pretty good in the short match, but it didn’t have
time to be much. [*] 1.75/10
