SABLE & TORRIE WILSON VS. STACY KEIBLER & MISS JACKIE

 Before this match, “Mean” Gene Okerlund introduces the 2004 Hall of Fame Inductees.

Sable enters first, followed by Torrie, they represent Smackdown in this interpromotional match. The Smackdown girls were recently featured in Playboy and Stacy and Miss Jackie say they should have been in the magazine. It must blow some peoples’ minds that the PG company used to have a deal with Playboy. Michael Cole and Tazz are on commentary for this match, they’re falling over themselves over the attire in this match, then become experts as Torrie Wilson makes her way down. Miss Jackie is first to enter for Raw, and Tazz says she’s one reason to tune in to the other brand. So much for that warfare. Stacy Keibler makes her way out as Tazz steals Jerry Lawler’s “Puppies!” catchphrase. Sable grabs the microphone and says she feels restricted so she and Torrie are going to wrestle without the gowns. Jack Doane helps Sable with her dress. I know no one cares at this point but the LED screen has the Playboy logo. Stacy is next to strip, followed by Torrie, Miss Jackie takes her shoes off but refuses to take her gown off, to boos from the crowd.

 

SABLE & TORRIE WILSON VS. STACY KEIBLER & MISS JACKIE

WWE Wrestlemania XX (14^th March 2004)

Sable brings Miss Jackie in over the top rope and the bell rings with all four in the ring. Sable and Torrie strip Miss Jackie of her gown and Sable goes on the attack in the corner. Sable connects with some decent enough kicks in the corner, then snapmares Jackie to the ground and forgets how to do it. Torrie Wilson gets the tag from the top turnbuckle and hits a crossbody for a nearfall. Stacy Keibler gets the tag and takes her time getting in the ring, Torrie waits patiently, but can’t capitalize as Stacy cartwheels out of a shove (look, I’m trying. There was a bell so presumably this is a wrestling match.) Torrie Wilson connects with a kick and an irish whip sends Stacy into the corner. Torrie Wilson charges but is caught in the headscissors as Cole talks about Stacy’s cheerleading the way Jim Ross talks about College Football history. Stacy chokes Torrie with a foot until she’s made to break. Torrie is sent into the ropes, but she hits a sunset flip on Stacy, leading to a series of rollups that end in a nearfall. Stacy Keibler is the first to her feet and she knocks down Torrie with a kick, Stacy Keibler gets a nearfall and tags out. Miss Jackie gets tagged in but is taken down which kicks off a catfight. Jack Doane tries to break it up and gets steamrolled, Torrie and Jackie aren’t happy that he was touching them, but Torrie slaps Miss Jackie, remembering there’s a match. Miss Jackie rolls Torrie up, but Torrie rolls through and gets the win.

WINNER: TORRIE WILSON & SABLE

I did what I could. It was a short match that got some attractive women in lingerie on pay-per-view. Jackie was a great heel at the start but none of it really mattered. They were all limited with minimal time to make anything matter, but it looked good and was a bathroom break for purists. [DUD] 0/10
