Vince McMahon and Jerry “The King” Lawler welcome us to the show and are on commentary for this match
Razor Ramon enters the match first, he has been attacked on the previous 2 weeks on Superstars. 1,2,3 Kid enters with Ted DiBiase and the stroller. He tries to rip the head off the teddy bear when he gets in the ring, but fails so he just throws it at Ramon, Razor Ramon throws the tooth pick and the bell rings.
1-2-3 KID VS. RAZOR RAMON (Crybaby match)
WWF In Your House 6 (18th February 1996)
1-2-3 Kid slaps Ramon, but gets one back. He sends Razor Ramon off the ropes from a headlock but is knocked down with a shoulder tackle. Razor Ramon knocks Kid down with right hands and clotheslines him over the top rope. Ted DiBiase tries to help 1-2-3 Kid to his feet, but the referee tells him to back off. Is that illegal? 1,2,3 Kid gets to the apron and snaps Ramon's neck off the top rope, then hits a springboard clotheslines, 1-2-3 Kid covers but Razor Ramon kicks out at 1.-2-3 Kid stomps at Ramon az he gets to his feet, then kicks at him in the corner. Razor Ramon blocks a hip toss so 1-2-3 Kid sends him off the ropes. He runs into a martial arts combination by 1-2-3 Kid 1-2-3 Kid chops at Ramon in the corner and attempts another hip toss but Ramon backs 1-2-3 Kid into the corner and chops at Kid before sending him across the ring with a hip toss. Razor whips Kid back into the corner and hits him with a clothesline.
1-2-3 Kid is sent off the ropes, he ducks a clothesline but his crossbody is caught, Ramon hits a fallaway slam and sets Kid up for the Razor's Edge but 1-2-3 Kid scrambles to the apron, Ramon knocks him to the floor but Ted DiBiase has baby powder in his hands, he throws it in Razor Ramon's face and the referee ignores the cloud that Vince points out on commentary. 1-2-3 Kid hits a missile dropkick and covers Razor Ramon, but he kicks out at 2. 1-2-3 Kid snapmares Razor Ramon over and hits him with 2 running leg drops then brings Ramon to his feet. A standing dropkick puts him down for 1-2-3 Kid to hit s splash from the top rope 1, 2, no! 1-2-3 Kid gets a combination of punches before backing Razor Ramon into the corner, he hits a spinning heel kick before trying to wear Ramon down with a sleeperhold. Razor Ramon counters, sending 1-2-3 Kid into the ropes, they fumble before Razor Ramon hits a kneelift and sends Kid into the ropes again.
1-2-3 Kid jumps on Ramon's back with another sleeperhold, but Razor Ramon backs him into the turnbuckles, breaking the hold. 1-2-3 Kid jumps from the middle rope back into the sleeper hold, wearing Ramon down. Razor Ramon tries to get to the ropes but drops to the mat as he is inches away. They work it for a long time, then the fans chant for Razor and he makes it to his feet, he turns into the sleeperhold and crotches 1-2-3 Kid over the top rope. Razor Ramon can't capitalize, giving 1-2-3 Kid time to crawl over for the cover, but Ramon kicks out at 2! Razor Ramon blocks a right hand, he hits 1-2-3 Kid with a pair of right hands, Kid ducks the discus shot but Ramon hits him with a cross, knocking him down. Razor Ramon sits 1-2-3 Kid on the top rope but Kid stuns him with a back elbow, he climbs to the top and hits a twisting body press, but Razor Ramon rolls through, 1, 2, no! 1-2-3 Kid is sent off the ropes but he ducks a clothesline, Kid hits a spinning heel kick for a nearfall. Razor Ramon reverses an irish whip, 1-2-3 Kid's crossbody gets caught and Ramon places him over the corner, Ramon with kicks to the midsection of 1-2-3 Kid before hitting a fallaway slam. Razor Ramon calls for the Razor's Edge but Ted DiBiase gets on the apron, 1-2-3 Kid grabs the baby powder from the apron but Ramon kicks it back into his face! Razor Ramon hits the Razor's Edge and covers but pulls 1-2-3 Kid up at 2. Commentary calls it a mistake, but Razor Ramon hits another Razor's Edge to win the match.
WINNER: RAZOR RAMON
This was a pretty good match, Razor Ramon was a really hot babyface at the time and I always forget about 1-2-3 Kid's heel run. This was a great choice to start the event as this feud helped to make 1-2-3 Kid's career Ted DiBiase was involved enough to warrant being there and my only real complaint is the referee playing blind to the powder clouds, but we have to suspend disbelief for some things. [***] 5/10.
After the match, Razor Ramon starts putting a diaper on 1-2-3 Kid, Ted DiBiase tries to attack him but Ramon knocks the powder into his face before dusting 1-2-3 Kid with it too.
