Hornswoggle is pacing backstage, William Regal and Jonathan Coachman look on. Mr. McMahon is here and he asks for privacy with Hornswoggle. He tells Hornswoggle that people all have theories about why he booked the next match, it's a trainwreck, marquee value (wait, what!?) because he's ashamed of Hornswoggle (illegitimate son storyline, for those fortunate enough to forget.) He says all those people are wrong, he says he believes in Hornswoggle because his name's McMahon. Putting over his battles with Time Warner and the US Government. John “Bradshaw” Layfield and Michael Cole are on commentary. Shane McMahon is out first to watch the match. A part of me wishes he was on commentary, but he grabs the mic which is the next best thing. He introduces Vince and his “little brother” nudge, wink Hornswoggle. This is an interpromotional match with Hornswoggle representing Raw and Great Khali representing Smackdown for the 5 that might care. I love that Shane trash talks Khali as the giant makes his way to the ring. Vince and Shane want a couple of chairs for ringside as Ranjin Singh grabs the microphone. He makes a show of them facing off in the middle of the ring for the rules. As if it wasn't stacked against Hornswoggle enough, it's a Smackdown referee! The fans chant for Shaq before the match starts, with Mr. McMahon saying he doesn't care.
GREAT KHALI VS. HORNSWOGGLE
WWF Survivor Series 2007 (18th November 2007)
HORNSWOGGLE WITH A RIGHT HAND! HE GOT IN SOME OFFENSE! He wastes time throwing his jacket on the floor, he really could have used the last 4 minutes to get ready. KICK TO THE SHIN! Hornswoggle dropkicks Singh through the ropes. More kicks to the leg put a crease in Khali's trousers and a scream from Khali puts a stain or 2 in Hornswoggle's as he runs out of the ring. He climbs the ring steps as Ranjin Singh asks if he has gum, Hornswoggle spits green mist at Singh, Thesz press from the steps by Hornswoggle, lefts, and rights! Khali steps over the top rope, following Hornswoggle to the floor. Hornswoggle crawls under the ring and back out the other side with a shillelagh. The Great Khali gets back in the ring and grabs the Shileighleigh, throwing it out to the floor. Great Khali slaps Hornswoggle across the head, bringing Shane to his feet until he's calmed by Vince. He signals for the vice grip but Finlay is in the ring, he attacks the leg of Khali with a shillelagh. Ranjin Singh is brought into the ring, another shot to the head of Khali before he takes Hornswoggle to the back.
WINNER: THE GREAT KHALI (Disqualification)
This was a complete waste of time, it shouldn't have been on pay-per-view. Any match on the card you consider too short? This match stole the time from it. It was done for novelty and "comedy" but one's you've seen Hornsoggle's head in Khali's hand once it wears off. They had multiple on-screen moments together and they never did anything for me. Pretty sure they got a spot at the Rumble in January too.– As a match it's unratable, so it must be 0/10
