Diesel takes his time getting back in, he signals for the Jackknife, but Bret Hart can't stay on his feet, Diesel lifts him again and Bret rolls him into an inside cradle, 1, 2, 3!
WINNER: BRET HART (NEW WWE Champion)
This was a great match. Bret Hart was able to pull an acceptable match from anyone and the callbacks to their Royal Rumble match, the chair shot and Figure Four added to the overall story. They were tame for modern standards but this match was mind-blowing at the time. .– As a match it's *** but personally I'd rate it 6.5/10
After the match, Diesel sits up from the pin mouthing “Mother Fucker!” in another pretty amusing moment for the time. He shoves the referee out of the way and hits Bret Hart with a Jackknife. More referees runs out and eat rights, another Jackknife for Bret Hart before Diesel throws the championship belt onto Bret and leaves.
