Before the match Shane Douglas has an interview with all
the members of Team Canada about their matches tonight. Bobby Roode
faces Lance Hoyt with Petey Williams and Eric Young face the Naturals
for the NWA tag team titles next. The Naturals have a new advisor but
Scott D'Amore doesn't care. The champions may fight great, but Team Canada are great fighters.
Scott D'Amore leads out Williams, Young and A-1. TheNaturals enter and Scott D'Amore walks over to the announce table to
shout at Mike Tenay and Don West, claiming no one would side with The
Naturals.

Jeff Jarrett will get

them back into the match with the ironic quote from Tenay “you have
to focus on this match!”
Petey Williams
brings it back into the ring and tags in Young, Stevens is sent into
the turnbuckle and Eric Young gets some jabs in. Stevens fights out

Naturals hit a Doomsday type move for a close nearfall. Stevens
brings Young into the ring and they hit the Natural Disaster on him.
Douglas covers but Williams breaks up the cover. He ducks a right by
Chase Stevens and hits an athletic side Russian legsweep. Petey
Williams runs into an inverted atomic drop by Douglas, Andy Douglas
knocks A-1 off the apron but walks into a Canadian Destroyer attempt,
Douglas escapes and run the ropes but is hit across the back with the
hockey stick flag. Petey Williams sets up the Canadian Destroyer but
Stevens hits him with a megaphone. Jimmy Hart is their advisor! Jimmy
Hart helps the Naturals retain the titles as Andy Douglas rolls
through to a jacknife cover for the 3.
WINNERS: THE NATURALS
This was a good formula tag match. Chase Stevens took
most of the heat from Team Canada, Andy Douglas got a hot tag and
they retained the belts. Jimmy Hart coming in at the end was a
genuinely great surprise at the time, I remember liking The Naturals
when I was first introduced to TNA.– [**¼] match but personally
3/10
Jimmy Hart walks his new team back up the ramp as Team
Canada slam the mat, Tenay mentions Petey Williams' nosebleed and
they're treating it like death. Lockdown 2005 has been voted
the 3rd biggest moment in TNA history for being the first
all steel cage pay-per-view.
