TYE DILLINGER VS. APOLLO CREWES

Apollo Crewes makes his debut tonight and gets the hidden entrance as he awaits "The Perfect Ten". Corey Graves, Byron Saxton and Rich Brennan are on commentary.

TYE DILLINGER VS. APOLLO CREWS

NXT TAKEOVER: BROOKLYN ( 22^nd August 2015)

They lock up, Crews backs Tye Dillinger into the corner but gets leapfrogged, Tye Dillinger taunts Crews to get closer to a finisher. Dillinger ducks under another tie-up attempt with a waistlock, into a headlock. Crews uses his power from a low centre of gravity to reverse into one of his own via a top wristlock, Tye Dillinger pulls at the ear and shoves Crews off. Apollo Crews stops himself going into the corner and avoids Dillinger with a cartwheel and a backflip, calling himself number 10. Tye Dillinger isn't pleased with that but misses a charge. Crews goes over and under before Dillinger runs into a standing dropkick. Tye Dillinger uses the corner to get to his feet, Appollo Crews charges but gets sent over to the apron, Tye Dillinger hits a dropkick on Crews in mid-air. Apollo Crews gets stomped into the corner, Dillinger chokes him with the boot for good measure then drags him away from the ropes for a knee drop. Tye Dillinger locks in a Million Dollar dream, Corey Graves doesn't think he has it in properly but it drops Crews down to one knee.

Apollo Crews powers out of the hold, Dillinger tries to spin him out of it but end up on Crews' shoulders, Dillinger elbows out and tries to roll Crews up, Crews sits down for a 2 count. Tye Dillinger gets to his feet, his first superkick attempt is caught, but he hits the second. He covers Crews but only gets 2, Tye Dillinger goes back to the cover but Crews kicks out the second time. Tye Dillinger forces Crews' shoulders to the mat in frustration, hitting him with mounted rights. Tye Dillinger waits for Crews to get up, another superkick is blocked, Apollo Crews hits an enziguri, knocking Dillinger back into the ropes. Tye Dillinger grabs Crews' wrist but eats a pair of right hands, Apollo Crews knocks him down with a clothesline. Crews lifts Dillinger overhead with a Gorilla press, dropping him to the mat with a swift standing moonsault ending it.

WINNER: APOLLO CREWS

This is another match where they warmed up before playing their greatest hits for the fans. Apollo Crews got a big win in his first match on NXT adding a slightly different dynamic to the match, but it really feels like they're holding back tonight.
